Does anyone know how much it costs to take a taxi from CSR to the nearest grocery store, Target, or Walmart? I'm not sure if I want to order from Garden Grocer or try to go to a store myself.

Thank you,
Shelli

It ran me around $20+ to run to Walgreens (for an emergency prescription). He waited the few minutes it took me to run in and get it.

Hi, I am about to book CSR with free QSDP for January, but when looking at the list of locations CSR does not seem to be there?? Is this correct or am I misreading it? I don't want to book and find we can't eat at the resort. Many thanks in advance. :)

Hello,
I'm looking for a map or something that shows Coronado room numbers/location. We are staying in the Castita section and would like to request a room in a specific area. Any help? Thanks

CSR restaurants, like many Epcot restaurants, are not owned by Disney. They tend to be added to the DDP brochure for the following year in November or December. CSR restaurants have always been included in the DDP, but we typically have to wait to the end of the year for official confirmation. Unless something very unusual happens, they will be added to the 2014 at the end of this year.

I haven't seen a map with that information. CSR rooms are numbered first by building, then by floor, so second floor casitas 4 would be 42xx. There is a bit of variation in the cabanas since there is 8A and 8B and 9A and 9B. There is a map with building locations and numbers on the first page.

Thanks very much! That makes sense now :)

Can tell you it was over $50 to go the 5 miles to church and back.

Anyone know if magic bands are available at CSR yet??? I have tried to use FP+ but it says my ressies are not within the window even though we are only 55 days til our trip. :confused3

Not yet for CSR. We are also 44 days out now, and have a POR stay at the end of our trip for 2 nights with MB/FP+. They would likely have popped up by now. With POR it popped up at 59 days before that check-in or something close. I get the above message for FP+ on any of our CSR days (except the one day that overlaps with POR).

I had a reservation at POR and received the FP+ test invite, customized my bands, and received them in the mail. Now I've switched my reservation to CSR. Will the Bands still work, and are my FP+ selections still live? On MDE, my reservation is updated and my Bands are still showing up.

Do the corner rooms at CSR have two windows like they do at POR/FQ?

Yikes! Thanks for the info. It would be cheaper to rent a car from Priceline for the day.

We heard this same thing from a friend so we rented a car from the car center for Saturday afternoon until Sunday afternoon for about $40 and this will allow us to stop at the grocery store on our way back to pick up a few items as Sunday is day 2 of our trip. We used National because my husband has a Emerald card (which I believe is free) and I checked Alamo and became an "Insider" (again free) and I believe the price was about the same.

Something to consider since they pick you up at your resort and drive you over to the rental place, and then will also drive you back after you drop off the car.
Does take a little time out of your day, but depending on your needs for a car, for us it was worth it.

There is also a CVS right outside the Disney Main gate and it is probably closer. We always have a town car pick us up from the airport and back and stop there on the way in. They have all kinds of drinks and stuff..

Mears also has a trip estimator on their website if you want to get an idea of how much a trip would cost. Not an exact, but a good guess.

What are the standard room views for 9B business class? Also, do they ever add to the food options in the lounge?

Thanks for any information that can be given! :thumbsup2

Also, does anyone know what the average price upgrade for a Preferred Room is over a Standard Room is, per night? Just a guesstimate is needed.

I am trying to help a co-worker plan a trip for next year, and any dates we try online says that nothing is available in the preferred room category. Just Business class.

I can't tell you specifically for CSR, but when we were booked for CBR we upgraded to preferred and it was about $200 total difference. When we switched the ressie back to CSR there were no preferred available. I would imagine the cost would be similar.
