I posted this information in the cruise meet thread for our cruise and thought others would find it helpful. I found the hotel names in another thread, visited each website, and compiled the relevant information.

Updated 8/1/13

Each of these hotels offers 40% discount coupons for parking in the Port Canaveral lot:

Cocoa Beach Hotels

La Quinta Inn Cocoa Beach - click on the Port Canaveral Parking Package Learn More button on the lower right side of the page.
Tripadvisor #10 of 33 hotels in Cocoa Beach

Best Western Cocoa Beach - click Cruise Vacationers on the site menu for information.
Tripadvisor #11 of 33

Titusville

This is a good deal for those that want to park at the Port Canaveral parking lot.
40% Discount:

- 7-day cruise is $71.92 vs. $120.00

Just wanted to clarify - the AAA rate is indeed outdated pricing; I confirmed with Port Canaveral personnel that there is no AAA parking discount. Good tips on the 40% discount coupons! :thumbsup2

Thanks! I removed the AAA information from the first post and I added Tripadvisor rankings.

Are these the Park and Cruise Options---where you park in their lots? How does the discount work?

The 40% off coupon is for parking right at the port.

I'll also add that there are hotels in Titusville that offer the same 40% coupon. Titusville is about 20 minutes North of the port on I95, and a very easy drive.
We stayed at the Fairfield Inn and would highly recommend it. It's fairly new, very very clean, quiet, free hot breakfast, and inexpensive. I paid $120 for a king in May and I booked it the night before. There is a Cracker Barrel next door and lots of other food/stores that you would need or want.
The coupon made parking at the port $9 per day.

Has anyone ever stayed at the LaQuinta (not the one on the beach but the one offering the 40% parking - just wondering what it was like - it has very mixed reviews?

Thinking of booking here too....anybody???

I booked the Best Western within the last two weeks because I got the best rate there and the 40% parking coupon at the port. DH did not want to leave the car at a hotel.

Thanks!

Just checked for April 20, 2014...LaQuinta is about 30.00 less for my dates...but THANKS..i'll keep my eye on it.

I rechecked TripAdvisor. The La Quinta and Best Western have swapped positions. Either are still good budget choices. I cancelled my reservation at La Quinta and booked the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Titusville. They also offer the 40% Port Canaveral parking coupon and are #1 in Titusville on TripAdvisor. I should update my OP. :)

Depending on where you are coming from, these hotels may not be your best bet. We are coming from the north and usually stay in Jacksonville the night before. It leaves about 2 hours to the port, but the hotels are about $30 or $40 cheaper than the hotels closer to the port. Unless you have long cruise, the 40% off doesn't make up the difference.

The Residence Inn near the port has a great Cruise special that allows you to leave your car at the hotel. The special comes with breakfast and shuttle service. We used it last December and it worked out great. We got off the ship very early, picked up the car at the hotel and went next door for breakfast at a great restaurant called Zacharys.

I was thinking the same thing...we use a comfort suites in orlando when we get in late at MCO.http://www.comfortsuitesfl.com/ .we have FlA ID's so we get a rate of 72.00 including breakfast. we are on a 4 day so i was thing the money we save on the room would be more than the 40% or just break even.

Thank you!! Just booked a room at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Titusville. Does anybody know if the 40% voucher can be used in the parking garage? Also does anybody know of a good restaurant on the water nearby?

We stayed at Fairfield Inn & Suites in Titusville two years ago. I highly recomment it... the rooms are clean, breakfast, free breakfast was good and literallly 20-25 mins strainght into port. We are booked there again fo our 9/22 cruise
