Finally here, sorry I am late started a new (part time) job at Walmart worked 38hrs this week...whew Had a talk with my boss.........ah was supposed to be 20-15 hrs not full time eeeek! He claims it was for training and will go down to 25 but not going to hold my breath...lol.....Ok bring on the report so excited!

I can absolutely see why you received so many compliments on your head gear, bags and accessories. Of course...I saw pics of them all on your PTR, but those pics really don't do them justice. Seeing you wearing the headbands and carrying the bags really just brings it all together! I have definitely added "Owning a D~ bag" to my bucket list. I just HAVE to have one!
I have never been to POFQ, but from the pictures you posted it looks like a nice resort. Definitely going to have to check it out.

Great idea taking a photo of the room clock. Our clock in Kidani was about 4 hours fast. I never did take the time to fix it.
Yay for the fridge! I had a letter in the mail about the fridges when I got home. It wasn't an issue for us in the villas but I would have pretty upset if I hadnt known in advance and didn't have a fridge only to have the letter in the mail when I got home. I wonder why they waited so long to send out the letters.
How wonderful to have a friendly face there to welcome you!!! What a great start to your trip-meeting Mickey, walking up Main St, riding a classic ride and seeing the princesses. And getting all set for your first full day!

Welcome! Glad to have you here! I love letting the CMs pick my meals - you'll find that I did it often over the course of the trip - my girls even do it occasionally. I do LOL sometimes though, because some CMs are afraid to do that... I have to convince them that it really is OK. LOL

August in WDW must be very, very, hot. I live in Oklahoma so I'm very used to hot humid weather in the summer. However, I don't know if I could survive Disney when it's that hot!
Thanks! LOL - I thought the same thing... MN - Land of 10k lakes... Home of humidity... Not exactly the same as FL - but it was very close to some of our hottest days here. FL in Aug was just a lot HARDER than I expected... The heat, combined with the humidity, combined with the walking, combined with the constant sun... It really took a toll - espeically our first few days. Not trying to scare anyone - just trying to "prepare" LOL.

Oh my...that picture with all of us eating is not very flattering for any of us! But the food was great....even if it did take forever to get. I think Sara had a horrible experience at every food court we visited other than ours. It was her veggie burger that took so long.

HAHAHA....well I wanted to surprise you. I was afraid that I had ruined the surprise. On either my PTR or yours I slipped a couple days before we left. You said "see you Tuesday" and I said something like "if not before....stranger things have happened..." But I don't think you picked up on it. But I didn't want to chance it. The plan was to be there holding a little goodie bag for each of you with Mickey balloons. Well I love you all...but not to the tune of $12 a piece for a balloon! CRAZINESS!
Then we were going to hide on you and wait for you to check in first. I almost didn't come because I didn't want to be in the way. I knew you would be tired from traveling and just want to go to the room and chill. But I wanted to welcome you. I totally meant to show Sara around the resort because it is one of my favorites, but we never did that after it took so long to get our food
You totally suprised me!!! I know I had to do a double take when I saw you there - because when I opened that door - I instantly saw you, and it didn't click at first... Then I was like... Wait a minute!!! That's Suzi... SUZI!!!!!!!!! hahaha... I love ya - and I love that you took time out of your trip to come see us! That was wonderful! And I totally understand about the balloons... I would never spend that much (but you know I am a tightwad anyways)...

And POFQ is still one of my favorite places to stay! Of course, having been born and raised in NOLA, I feel very "at home" there. And the food court makes me happy...that Shrimp Poboy looks FABULOUS! The only question is, did they ask you if you wanted it "dressed" or not?
LOL... He may have asked if I wanted it dressed? I am horrible with understanding accents... So if I don't understand someone - in typical MN fashion - I just 'smile and nod'... So who knows? LOL
I meant to ask/comment all the above earlier, but I must have been too stunned that I did not get here until page 4!

Yes - it was so fun to have friends there. The girls always get really nervous when I mention so many Dismeets - because they think that we will never have any time alone... Then they meet my friends and love them (and their kids) and are begging to meet up with them again. LOL
And - thank you - we were very good about our water consumption this time. I would even get a little annoyed when I would go to wash out the girls' mugs at night, and find they had soda or fruit punch... But I tried not to be too naggy about it, because I was constantly making them order water everywhere - so the few times they did have soda... Well, it was a vacation after all.
Looks like a great first day! We also tried to stay organized this trip. I laid out all of our clothes for the next day before bed. It definitely sped the morning up and my DH was able to get my DS dressed while I was in the shower.
Yes - I totally agree!!! Staying organized this trip was a huge help. That way - I could let the girls sleep in as long as possible... I only ever woke V about 30 minutes before we had to be on the bus... It took her longer to eat her breakfast than it did to get dressed. We will definately stick to our "prepping at night" the next time we go.

Yesterday was a bit nice around here...
I messed around on the Photopass website for a while in the morning... then I did some Dis-ing and some FB-ing...
Perfect morning with a cup of coffee - if you ask me.
Then Josh and I decided to go to town... I needed to stop at the fabric store for a few supplies I was dangerously low on. Then my usual Target/Grocery store stops.
I don't normally do these things with Josh - because he only enjoys shopping for the first 5 minutes... but I asked him to go with me, and he looked like he WANTED to go...
So we went... He was not happy that by the time I was showered and ready to go - it was lunch time... I should have known better and made him eat first - it would have made him much happier while shopping.
But I was able to get some good deals at the fabric store... And even better deals at Target... And decent deals at the grocery store. With all these days "off" - I've been able to catch up on my couponing a little bit... So, that's been nice.
We came home, and Josh decided he wanted to clean the livingroom carpet - on a whim -
So, we now have clean livingroom carpet... Yay!!
Then, he made BBQ chicken and ribs on the grill for dinner - and it was heavenly! So happy that his latest fascination is BBQ Pitmasters. LOL
Today will be another lazy day for me... I will do a little Photopass editing... I will work out... And just hang out.
V goes back to school tomorrow and Alli goes back on Wed.
