Can I use a quick service credit to get a couple snack items?

My child is very picky and I know there may be times when he doesn't like what is offered for children under the quick service menu. Can he get a couple of snack items in exchange for 1 quick service credit? TIA!

Sorry, no.

In the past you have been able to exchange 1 CS credit for 3 snacks at the resort food courts, but Disney has ended that practice.

When did they quit allowing that? When we were there in May we were allowed to get a fruit, a snack and a drink for a CS meal.

It just varies depending on the CM. Some people (me included in March) were able to do 3 snacks for a QS credit at the food court. Others could only get a 1 for 1 trade.

Op, you could ask at the food court (not in the parks, that'd just be a no) but I'd go in expecting to be a 'no.'

Maybe you got a continental breakfast? Fruit, pastry, and a drink? That they do still allow at food courts.

We weren't able to do the 3 SC for on CS last Oct. at AoA, but were the year before at POP.

Basically, at the food courts you can get 2 SC (sort of) for 1 CS. You can get a bottled beverage (that's 1 SC) and a dessert (that's your second SC) along with an entree.

It has been sporadically reported that some CMs are still allowing this but it's no longer policy. It doesn't hurt to ask.... In Oct. 2011 several times we got 3 ice cream sundaes for 1 CS. Loved that! ;)

If you were asking me, no, I didn't get anything close to a continental breakfast. We grabbed things our last day to take home with us (3 for 1QS credit) such as kettle corn, Mickey head crispy treats, a few drinks... but mostly candy and fun stuff. Nothing that would constitute some kind of continental breakfast breakdown. I have a picture somewhere of all our loot at the end of the day I'll see if I can find.

We asked a cashier before grabbing everything and there weren't issues BUT it's definitely not the norm anymore, I'd agree. Best to go in thinking the answer will be no and come out pleasantly surprised. We did this back on March 4, 2013.

That's great! I just wish they would allow it again and that they would be consistent about it. It would make is so much easier. :goodvibes

Agree! I'd love for it to be the rule, but if not, I wish they'd post something and stick with it!

Inside the parks and at most QSR locations you may substitute your dessert for a bottle of water, so that would mean a drink of choice, entree, and bottle of water.
