~~ Sew hot, Hot, HOT! ~~ A sweltering Aug 2013 TR ~ Pre-Trippie link posted! ~ 10/31!

Joining in! Can't wait to hear about POFQ as we booked the bounceback for next year there.

I was a lurker at the end of your PTR, looking forward to the rest of the TR. can I ask where you sell your lovely creations? If we are breaking rules on DIS talking about that feel free to PM me. :)

I'm here and loving it so far! Can't wait to read about all your adventures....it gets me even more excited for my upcoming trip in October!

The pic of the 3 of you on the plane is adorable. Sometimes when I travel I get so engrossed in the moment that I forget to get the camera out. I will have to remember to take airport and travel pics.

Looks like it'll be a fun trip even if it does turn out to be super hot. I really enjoyed those silly pics in your first post!

Here we go....

Our day started off gloriously early - those of you who know me - know I am an early riser... So, my alarm going off at 3:30am is about the time my body normally wakes anyways...

All of our excitement had built over the last several months - and this was GO TIME!!! The girls and I were ready!

I filled my normal cup of coffee, hopped on to the computer and did a little Dis-ing and a little FB-ing...

I woke Alli at 3:50am

And I woke V at 4:30am

The girls and I did all of our last minute preperations... It was very hot here in MN - we didn't have our air on... Little did we know - this was just a preview of what was to come.

We packed all of our last minute items, and we were on the road at 5:20am.

We planned to stop for donuts on the way - since our little airport has the worst food ever (seriously, how can you wreck a muffin?)...

We arrived at the airport promptlly at 6am... All of the lines were super long and our bags were very heavy. Between the 3 of us - we checked 3 suitcases, but we carried on 6 more bags (2 each)...

Security lines were even longer... In a last ditch effort to avoid a long line - we trekked all the way across the airport to the other (shorter) security line... but by the time we did the long walk there - and eventually back - we would have just been better off staying put.

Eventually - we made it through security with out any problems.

It seems that we waited forever to board... We wasted time eating our donuts and messing around... Or in my case, running to the bathroom every 5 minutes, God forbid I have to use the airplane bathroom...

Finally - our airplane arrived...

And we boarded... Seats 7a, 7b, 7c...

Our flight took off right on time...

I spy Sully and Mike peeking out from V's trip bag:

The entire flight was very smooth... Except a little bumpy over Georgia...

The whole flight - I was waving to my Dis friends... Mo over Chicago... Ariana/Liddy/Oopsi over TN... Nini over GA...

Our flight landed 15 minutes early at 12:00pm. WHOOT!

We trekked across MCO to Disney's Magical Express... We had just missed the cut off for the current bus. :( So, we had to wait for the next one to arrive -which took F-O-R-E-V-E-R... I hope this wasn't a precursor of what's to come... :scratchin

After about a 20 minute wait, our bus finally arrived... The girls and I were the 2nd family to board - we sat in the 2nd row...

Before we knew it - we were seeing Disney signs! WHOOT!!! :cheer2:

The BEST sign of them all...

And the 2nd BEST sign of them all...

WHOOT!!! We have arrived!

Up next... Who or what was waiting for us upon arrival? Did we get close to our room request? Was check in smooth? :scratchin

No longer MIA........Here I am! :wave2:

I was scanning over the new posts this morning and the title of your TR caught my eye, having visited WDW in August twice myself.

What I remember most about our trips in August is a lot of rain and being very hot and very sweaty beneath our ponchos which became like a second skin because Did I mention the rain? :rotfl2:

Love the first installment, love the pics of you and the girls on the plane. I find myself hopeing we just missed an ME bus as I hate having to sit way in back. You got great pics of the Disney Sign :goodvibes

Can not wait to read more! :)

YAY!!!!! (I just realized that I have been saying yay A LOT!!!!!) I am so excited that the TRs are started!!! My Disney stalking, eh obsession, eh hobby yeah hobby resumes!!!:thumbsup2

I'm here. We're home. Emma & I are talking about a possible December trip-her last one on one trip before middle school.

Hey we were in row 7 to MCO too.

Love your Disney sign pic!

Here from TN!! Hellooooo!! Lol... loved the ptr can't wait to read what happened next!

I'm here. Wow, you waste no time. I thought you might have 1-2 days of down time before starting your TR. I am indeed a slacker. Still no TR for our summer trip because I can't find a suitable title and uggg.....still editing photos. Can't wait to see your pics and hear how your trip was!!

I'm here.

One of these days, I'd love to take DME. Which would be hard because 1) we usually drive and 2) we usually stay offsite.

Can't wait to read the rest. Also can't wait to see if my prediction comes true.

I'm here. Sounds like a great start to a magical time with your girls. Don't take a single moment for granted. My last trip with my girls I took it all for granted. I complained that they went to the movies didn't spend as much family time etc but if I had known it would be my last trip with them I would have wavered every second, even the complaints.
