Touring plan for an 8yo girl at HS for first time

Hi all,
HS is the only Orlando park we have never been to and I would like to try it. It will just be myself and 8yo daughter. She does not like scary things or fast roller coasters. She does like shows, princesses, etc and tamer rides. We will be there in October and it looks like the Honey I Shrunk the kids attraction will be being refurbed. Can anyone give me a list of must do's for us?

DHS has a ton of shows. It's mostly shows, actually. If she really does like shows that much, you'll be kept plenty occupied for the day.

Well it sounds like there is plenty to do. Is there a show schedule like at Seaworld or is it like Mickey's Philharmonic that just runs repeatedly?
