Ronfin, that's a great set of shots. I wish my family would participate like yours. My girls hate photos. Did you stick to the 24-105? Also, what flash did you use? On board or external?
I look forward to seeing more of those great shots. Thanks for sharing.
I have total photo envy? Are you a pro?!
A Pro? Oh God no. Just a huge photo enthusiast. I appreciate the compliment. I'm just trying to get better every day since this hobby is my biggest passion aside from my family.
I have to bribe them to participate in all the pictures. They get annoyed at the number of pictures I take
OK just uploaded 60 more pictures. A lot of low-light shots from inside some of our favorite rides! Enjoy!
Check-out the floating head from the Haunted Mansion!!!
Man, the 5D MkIII has awesome low light capability! I am jealous! What lens are you using for the Haunted Mansion pics?
Thanks for sharing.
I had the 24-105mm f4 on it the whole trip. With the ISO boost it does very well in low light. I haven't even begun to use the 50mm 1.8 yet. For websites, and printing to A4, you won't see much noise unless you blow them up larger.
I really want to make that jump from the 7D, but thats a big jump! I dont really need it of course, but I would like a full frame.
BTW, were you with the 3ID? I was at Ft Stewart, 97-99.
Spent my first 3 years in the 3rd Inf Div, 3rd BDE, 4/7 Inf in Aschaffenburg West Germany back in '89-'92. Best unit/Div I ever served with in my total 18 in. Went to Iraq with them too. Once a Marne soldier, always a Marne soldier!
