We have a few fast passes reserved but can we still get regular fast passes?

Yes, it is my understanding that you can still use the regular fast passes as well. We did the Fast Pass + trial in December and used both kinds.

Rumor says that FP+ and MB will go live on November 1st, meaning that you will not be able to use both FP system at once...

Although some front line CMs are telling guests that the paper FP will be remaining, you can bet your house that the plan for FP+ involves FP being removed when rollout is complete. I don't have any published articles, but CMs that I trust tell me they've attended sessions with the My Magic+ group and confirmed it to be true. Also, it is a fait accompli that FP+ will be the new way. Although everything is being described as "testing", there is absolutely no way they're going back now.

The more I hear about FP+, the more I find I scrunch up my face like I ate something sour. LOL!!!

Why fix what ain't broke? FP classic, is amazing. It makes no distinction between anyone (i.e. EVERYONE has a fair chance), completely free of charge, and the same rules apply throughout.

Don't get me wrong, FP+ will not keep me and my family from going to the world, but it may mean a drastic change in strategy when working the parks. There were times in the height of peak season we could still have as much as 4 (sometimes even 6) FP for the marquee attractions (TSM, RNR, SOARIN, etc). I don't like the idea of possibly being limited to 3, and even worse, knowing that i may be entitled to less FP based on the type of guest I am (offsite, value resort, mod resort, deluxe resort).

Looking forward to finally knowing what the official FP+ rules entail.

But for all I have read so far about it...

If I was given a choice between FP+ and FP Classic...classic all the way!!!

Continue to check back in the My Disney Experience website and see if it allows you to select FP+. I don't think they've opened up selections for October yet, but if you keep checking you'll know as soon as they do.

If you're at a resort that is testing now, you will almost certainly be testing in October. Reports are that CMs in the resorts have been informed that once they're up they're up.

Thank you!!! Makes better sense now. Although the one problem I see with FP+ is draining your phone battery if you want to rebook your times!!! I always kill my battery in the park checking lines, etc.

We are going to BLT Nov 11th and are hoping we can use FastPass+ and the Magic Bands so any more info on this would be great.

I was able to make my FP+ selections tonight for Oct 23 at All star movies. Yeah!!

I was able to make my selections for fast pass tonight! We're going Oct 12-19 and staying at Kidani Village. Does this mean we will have the magic band also? I do not have the option to customize bands in my disney experience.

If you've already done online checkin, redo it (no need to change anything), this might prompt the system to let you personalize your MBs. It has worked for others on the boards. ETA, I just got it to work for me!

Several people have posted they were able to get FP+ for Oct for CBR. We will be staying at CBR in Nov. do you have to have fully paid for trip in order to get fast pass+ access and MB also do you have to do online check-in before you get MB or reserve fast passes?

just received my testing invite yesterday staying at BWV oct 10. For my touring style, this is great. We don't get up early, so the afternoon fpp are perfect.

Tired of missing out on fp because of relaxing on vacation.
