Where is my FAVORITE DCL cast member?

On the Magic in Jan 2011 we had an AS by the name of Lady. Does anyone recognize her and know if she is still with DCL? I don't recall our MS's name, our service started out with a few bumps but improved towards the end.
I remember Lady cutting our steaks for us and being very friendly.
Just wondering - I haven't seen her mentioned at all in this thread.

We had Lady on the Magic, and then again on the Fantasy last summer. It was her last cruise as she was going home to Peru to get married and goto school. We really enjoyed her

Steven, do you have any suggestions for servers on the Wonder? My parents and my aunt & uncle are going to be on the Wonder in November and I'd like to help them with a server request, as it has been quite some time since any of us (my aunt/uncle first time on DCL though) have been on the Wonder.

I have not been on the Wonder since the Inaugural Alaska (2011). Our Main Dining Room server was WONDERful ... but has since returned home to start a family. I do not recall who our Palo server was (what does THAT say)?

Have your relatives sailed on other cruise lines? Will you be able to give them insider tips on what to do and expect on DCL?

Hi there! We just got off the Fantasy last week (Aug 10-17, 2013) - it was amazing! Our servers were Yhokey (from the Phillippeans) and Aleksandr (from Serbia) - they were both excellent! Another server, by the name of Daniel (from Portugal) wasn't our server, he was at a table nearby, but was fantastic with our children (we were travelling as a large group of 17 - with 9children in all). We just loved him! I would love to send him a care package but I don't know his last name. I tried to be in touch with Disney Cruise Line but they won't give out that information. Does anyone have any contact for Daniel? I don't want to send a care package with just his first name (as it is pretty common!).

Any and all help appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I just returned from the EB TransAtlantic ... had requested Sompong based upon suggestions from others on this thread. I was lucky enough to get my request. Having sailed DCL 14+ times since 1999 (more than 20 total, including other cruise lines), I can honestly say, "Sammy" is (perhaps) the best, or 2nd best server I have EVER had!

"Sammy" is known by many cast members as Sompong ... but some know him as Sammy. Most guests know him as Sammy (when he introduces himself, he says his name is Sammy). Therefore, if you are requesting his as your server, you may want to request "Sammy" Sompong Pooncharoensuk.

Sammy has been a cruise line server for TWENTY-SEVEN years ... 1 year with one cruise line, followed by 13 years at another ... and now, 13 years with DCL on the Magic. Sammy told me he prefers to stay on the Magic.

As for his vacation, Sammy told me he will be going on vacation in September, and is expected to return to the Magic once out of dry dock. Sammy DOES NOT have a Facebook account or e-mail. If you wish to communicate with him, you will need to do so via snail mail. I gave Sammy my Castaway Club member notecards (with envelopes) ... and will be sending him US postage stamps, in case he wants to write to anyone. Please consider sending proper postage stamp(s) from your country, if you are communicating with him.

Does anyone know if Matthew and Anthony (I know he was from NYC) are still on the Fantasy? They ran most of the activities, Bingo, etc....My boys loved them and it'd be great to see them again on another cruise. Thanks in advance!

We'd like to know also had the on our last cruise and they were great. We're cruising on the Fantasy the week after Thanksgiving

If its the same Anthony I met in March, he got back on after vacation from what I heard and I had three Matt's on when I cruised. I know one had went to the Wonder(now on vacation and moved to a character manager type position), one is on Fantasy now and the other is on vacation

We just returned from an Alaskan cruise on the Wonder - we had Niti and Marvin in the MDR - they were great! Very entertaining for the kids with little games and tricks each night. Hristopher? Hrist was the beginning of his name in Palo was good (although not Anne Marie or Katerina (who we had on the other ships). He has been on the WOnder for quite a long time.

Last October when we were on the Magic, we had head server was Bradford from India, and assistant server was Allessandro from Italy. Would love to have them on the Fantasy in October of 2014.

Liam is on the fantasy as of 8/1 it was an amazing cruise the crew were great my DW and I knew half of them from sailing on all four had a great time lots of laughs.

Our favorite serving team was Toby (from Australia) and Nadya (from Russia) they were on the Magic for our first cruise. 8 cruises and a couple years later, we've never seen either of them again. They could have just left DCL (both were fairly young) but has anyone seen them?

Also we developed friendship with Joshua in Youth Activities on that cruise. We have kept in touch since then. He is no longer with DCL, but its cool to see how he has been blessed in his life. He just commented on FB ether other day about how much our son has grown and asked our opinion on joining DVC lol

Hi Steven. Thanks so much for your reply and asking others to help me out. My parents have sailed DCL a few times (5), but my aunt & uncle have only sailed on Carnival and that was several years ago. I'm sure my parents have filled them in on what to expect, etc., so hopefully it will go well for all of them.

Great news! Thanks! We first had him as our server in 2002 and have requested him every cruise since then. I just hope he won't be home on vacation when we sail in October.

I searched a few posts and saw he had been seen on the Dream last year, but also saw a recent post that he was on an Alaskan sailing on the Wonder. He was fantastic and we would love to request him on our next sailing on the Wonder.
