Not us there is a fridge in our room but it in unplugged and has a sign on it that says it has not yet been replaced and to not plug this one in as it is defective.

Why are CMs misleading people by saying they are all replaced? I would rather know the truth personally and be prepared to not have one over expecting to have one and it not being there when we get there. Glad I still have 86 days, hopefully, by then it is more concrete.

Phone CMs don't know what's really going on at WDW. And yes, if you call the CBR phone number it is still just an offsite call center that answers as CBR, it is not the desk at CBR.

I am pretty sure that someone in this thread was at CBR and asked and was told they were all replaced, but maybe I misunderstood.

Thanks for the picture! Even with the new bedding, it's still a Disney vacation! (sorry getting excited - 39 days to go)

A poster on page 8 of the "Fridge Status Check In" thread, mentioned that they called CBR today to request a fridge for their upcoming trip. The CM said that CBR was all done.

Maybe yours is indeed brand new and you are the first to use it?!

Nope, see the post above yours, they called "CBR", AKA the CBR call center. I read the original post on the fridge thread and they definitely said they called, here is their post from that thread:

I just got off the phone with CBR to request a frige and he told me they were all in and it was almost done in all the resorts except some of the Values...hope that is the case as I'm ordering some stuff from GG today. Looking at the last few posts that seems to be the case.

I've been watching this CBR thread and the fridge post thread since we are 30 days out. Although it is encouraging to see more recent posters having good luck with fridges, we are still planning to pack a soft-sided cooler in our luggage.

If we have a fridge - great! If not, we only need ice for milk and adult beverages.

But I will still be on my first WDW vacation in over 10 years!!

Thanks again to all the on site (and recently returned) posters who are keeping us in the loop.

Do you need a Friday? Did you ask for one when you got there? We are going in 2 weeks and ordered garden grocer so we will really need one!

We didn't ask for one, just thought we'd see what was in our room. We don't 'need' one...no kids or medical reason but it would have been really helpful.

Bring a bottle of Pepto Bismol and tell them you need for medical. It says on package, tastes better cold!

I've never stayed at CBR, but I did walk around the resort for about an hour early last year. Here are some of the pics I took then!
