Manacles, so sorry about your DD! Our son was sick with sunstroke during our trip last year. Soooo hard on them and us. Hope she feels better today.

Tomorrow will be the improvement day. It always seems to get worse the first few days. I would use this to have my family wait on me. Lol.

I hope so! The fall was Saturday evening before dinner. Really didn't think I would still be dealing with this, at least once it came clear I had no concussion. I'm not complaining, seriously! It could have been so much worse.

Yay for the MBs!!!! We are loving ours. Has made the trip much much better. Even DH is commenting.

And as for the contacts, I have to wear sunglasses, and I don't have prescription ones unfortunately. If I leave them out altogether I might as well stay in my room, and if I put one in, I run the risk of falling again because I'm so off kilter. My actual eyeballs feel fine. It's just getting them in and out that's a bit, ahem, interesting.

The other parents are gone for a run, I'm sadly unable to run since my knee injuries so I'm on the balcony with a coffee. The Nescafe machine has been broken in the lounge for the past two days which sucks, because I can barely drink the sludge in the carafe. Time to break out the pods and see if that's any better! I was living on the lattes before this. LOL

Working on it , we have awesome sunrise views from our room too it rises above BC across the water from the pool...sweet .
Had to see the staff at the desk to ask for the balcony light to be fixed and for them to make sure housekeeping provide our robes which were missing last night which are now here .They have provided info for getting to Hoop Dee Doo next week which is great , Robin was brilliant at the front of the lobby. ME was quick last night can't fault them at all. After the awful flights we had yesterday we were just glad to land here, bad head winds 90miles per hour slowed us down and thunder and lightening storms all the way from Atlanta to Orlando lighting up huge swathes of cloudy sky. We ended up on the go for about 25 hours solid yesterday so not expecting much activity today!

I'm so excited to be staying at the BC in February, from 2/16 through 2/21! I just booked a couple days ago. It will be my family's first time staying in the Epcot resort area and we're really looking forward to it. BC looks awesome!

Just back from our short trip to the YC after dropping off DS at college in Melbourne. It was extremely hot and humid last week, so not a lot of park time this trip. We did have the Magic Bands and set up FP+ for Toy Story Mania and a few others and everything went very well. The only problem we had with the Magic Bands was getting into the parks. Both DW and I had to try several times at MK, DHS and Epcot. At DHS a CM had to scan my Magic Band, check the info on her Ipad then confirm I was using an AP and asked for my ID.

We were staying CL and had a working fridge (room 5225, Lagoon View upgrade with a full balcony) and Joffreys coffee.

We also saw one of our favorite CL CMs, Virginia. If anyone is there now and sees her (she works at either the desk or in the lounge) tell her "Trouble says Hi!". It's a long story, but she and I have been teasing each other every time we've seen her, for several years. She's a fantastic CM and will do anything she can to make your stay more enjoyable.

If anyone has any questions, fire away.

Forgot to mention...... we were told the Magic Band test is extended at the YC until at least 10/31.

I'm packing and off to the airport at 3 PM. Long day of traveling. Jeanne is in meetings all day so can't pick me up until the evening. Keeping my fingers crossed no late afternoon storms mess up my flight. Tomorrow starts the "nightmare" of getting that classroom ready. I'll take before and after pics and send to Dee.

I'll try and get on Jeanne's computer nightly to answer any questions I might be able to but no promises. Between the 3 hour time difference, all the physical work and playing with the Princess, I'm usually asleep before Lily every night.

The Magic Band Trial starts for the BC and BCV on 9/3 and lasts until 10/31 (as of now). Exciting times!
