Disney Dream October 6, 2013

I just got our room number. We are in cabin 10650.
Last time when we boarded we got to the port at 8 in the morning and were able to actually board the ship by 10:30 because we arrived so early but it looks like they are saying you can't get on until your group is called. Does anyone know if you can still get there early and get on sooner??? We are flying in the night before and staying at a hotel right there so....

Good morning!!

mansfieldmomof3 and JacquelineDowlen did y'all get your GTY assignments yet?

Once I get all the cabin numbers I will put the list in floor order to help a little, if you would like a spreadsheet of this please PM me your email address and I will send it along. I would post it on google docs, but some people not like it "out there" so I will email it privately.

Have a great weekend!

Hey Everyone,
I haven't been on in awhile, I have been too busy to even explain. I now know our cabin number....it's 7648. It finally seems real. It won't be long now.

Hoping all of our Make-A-Wish, and recovering health conditions are fairing well when we sail! :grouphug: :cheer2: I am super excited that we leave next month, for our pre cruise trip.

Just talked to my sister-in-law. She definitely want to be on our list.

Here is her info....
Cabin # 7654

Dad (37)
Mom (35)
Layna (7)
Steele (3)

Thanks,

See everyone soon.

Heather

Hi everyone,

We are assigned the later dining time and I am wondering if that is going to be difficult for my 4 1/2 yr. old. I just read on another thread that dinner usually wraps up around 10pm.

Anyone have experience with the later dining time and younger children?

Thanks,

allison

Just saw this on another thread:

Yup, it's that new! It's on the recent Navigator someone posted in a recent thread (Just off of the Dream), and someone who cruised recently in another group I'm in, was able to give me more info. It's not a tiara, sorry! It's a Mickey clip they get. Light makeup, shimmering lip gloss, a face gem, and a hair twist with a Mickey clip.

Wanted to add that they also do a Pirate one for the same price ($14.95) that comes with an eye patch, earring, and bandana. For the girls, they also get shimmering makeup.

It's called the "Magical Makeover" in the Navigator for princesses and the brochure says "Glitter and Go".

The Pirate is called "Skulls & Scurry" and is at "Quacks", deck 11 mid ship

Both for ages 3-12

We love late dining. Emily was three on our first Disney cruise. The kid's club counselors will stop in around 9 to take kids to the club. The DCL site says they will walk around the dining room but I have not seen this happen. They stood at the entrance of the restaurant and I would take Emily to them. Children's food will usually come out first. Their menus are coloring pages. I liked it because Emily was usually hungry and would sit and eat her meals. She was also awake to see the shows which she loved. She fell asleep once and the waiter pushed a chair together and had her a makeshift bed and covered her with napkins. I was able to have a lovely peaceful dinner. Give it a try and if it doesn't work for you talk to the head waiter about changing to first seating or asking for your meals to move faster. We don't like to be rushed during dinner so we enjoy late seating. You can always order a snack from room service or stop by Flo's or Luigi's Pizza to tide you over to dinner. Helps keep the grumpiness down even for adults.

Hi! My siser-in-law is already signed up for the fish extender group and posted earlier for me to add my family. I hope I'm adding this message to the right place, but I was wanting to double check that we were added for the October 6 Dream cruise.
Anisa - Do I need to check w/ you? Can you confirm we are on the list. Muliptle families traveling together and I know all the kids would like to be included. Thanks!...first Disney cruise...cannot wait!!

So I guess I should've read all the way down before I posted...looks like I do see myself on the list!! Yea!! Not sure I get the message board exactly yet, but will keep reading and trying!!

Thanks! Lori

Good morning

Lecher - I edited the list and put your name on it.

Have a great Friday everyone!

Hey Hey Hey... It's Friday!

And now there are only 6 more Fridays!!! Woohoo!!!!!!!!

DW is still recovering from her surgery. It's been and will continue to be a long recovery. Boy does she wish she could be on Deck 4 just sitting there and enjoying the sound of the waves!

Oh - And to cheer her up at bit... a month ago I had purchased one the bottles of Sea Marine Spa shampoo from H2O+... the one they use on the ship. Once she got a whiff of it in the bath, she just smiled and signed... :)
