Dec 4 2013 - 4 nights of Magic from Miami

Greetings... We also decided to splurge for this cruise and went with the one bedroom concierge... it has already been super nice. I didn't have to get up early to try to get Palo's or our spa treatments. We decided to also splurge for the couples villa massage. We have never done this and I can't wait. We try to go every year this time for to celebrate my birthday. It's the same as Walt's so I always love celebrating Disney style. We are actually headed to WDW for Thanksgiving then taking the cruise to finish up before heading home.
Can't wait to meet everyone on the cruise. Wish it was packing time. pixiedust:

Our family is having "serious discussion" this week to solidify our plans & budget for this trip.

Would someone in Concierge/Plat be kind enough to tell me if there are any (or man) Cabanas left for this cruise?

Our window opens in 9 days to book, and I'd hate to even mention the Cabanas as a topic with my family just to disappoint people if it's already not available.

I really hope someone can help out. Thanks :cloud9:

Just took a peek, they have 4 remaining cabanas.
Family #7 and 9 at 499.00
and Serenity Bay 19 and 20 for 399.00.
Hope this helps to make a final decision.

Thank you! I'm glad there are some available but still less than I thought so my chances probably aren't good.

I'll see if I can grab one and then bring it up.

I really appreciate the help. :)

We are so excited!!!!!

We are bringing newbies on this cruise and it will be fun to do the FE.

Please sign us up....are there any cabins signed up yet besides the organizer? If there aren't many cabins, maybe we can do a gift exchange? Just an idea.

Anyway, we're looking forward to at least doing the FE. :cool1:

We have you on the FE list! Please send the room numbers, first name and age of children (if any) at sailing. If at the 60day deadline we only have a few I'm up for gift exchange. Hopefully more will get involved its always a lot of fun and the kids love it!

Donald and Sonya stateroom number 8582. We are both adults in age, but we act much younger. :beach: So is there someone organizing the FE?
I may have missed that. Sounds like fun.

We are in Cabana #8 so we might be neighbors!:thumbsup2

Glad you joined! We will be keeping track of all involved the list will be up dated on the first page under the FE list we started! The last cruise we were on the crew got involved and left lots of really cool gifts!

Thanks Tinky! So how does the meet work. and how does the gift exchange work. Thanks.

I don't think there has been a meet set up for this cruise yet, but if you click on the link on page one where the FE updated list is it will explan all about FE and how it works. It really is a lot of fun. Hope you'll want to participate!:thumbsup2 Let me know if you can't find it. Just scroll down on page one until you see my post on FE List.

Has anyone been on a cruise during this time? Is the ship busy? I recently booked this one, and after having done the Dream this past June I'm ready for less people :)

The weather can be hit or miss. We have been when it was nice and warm and we have also been when leaving port was rainy cold and windy

My husband dives often in Nassau with no issues. You can type in water temp for Nassau and it comes up with averages.
The ship can be full at this time of year with the decorations but remember it isn't the size of the Dream or Fantasy. Therefore less folks.

Just remember that any day on a Disney cruise is better than being at work. Cold, hot, windy...

We went the same week last year and it was the best! We were concerned about the weather but turned out to be fabulous. Even if you book in spring and summer, you never know what the weather can do. Either way its going to be a good time!:thumbsup2

I've never been during summer so can't compare but it didn't seem overcrowded to me any time b/c it's so close to holidays that many people don't want to take kids out. I'm looking forward to less crowded just bc it's a smaller ship vs Dream we've experienced last two times.

Jamie - We will be neighbors:cool1: Now we just have to get our kids to meet while there to encourage kids club usage.

My window opened today, and I snagged #7, which is by chance is the great location we had last cruise. All the cabanas are now gone. I think ours and SB 20 were available at midnight. Last cruise (on Dream), there were about 7 available at gold window but not this time on smaller ship. It is certainly the one perk I treat myself to now.

I also saw Cabana #7 and the Serenity Bay cabana when I logged on, but it was gone when I clicked it :faint:

I'm hoping if someone on our cruise ends up cancelling their family beach cabana to maybe PM me before they do so so I can try to book it. Thanks!

My family and I got a cabana when I was on the dream in June. My dad religiously checked their status' and sometimes when he clicked on an open one it really wouldn't be. The SB one we snagged was less than a month to sailing...we think they 'held back' some of them (cause online they were 'all booked' but the last 2 on SB were empty...)
--so try closer-to maybe?

Yea, both #7 & #9 were available, and it even showed up as "All day" when I clicked it. But it kept saying that it became unavailable as I was checking even though I could see it for 5 minutes. Oh well.

I'll keep trying.
