Janet yes!!!! I really need to save some $$$ for wdw spending, lol! But our only boutique where we live that sold any Brighton has just closed no Brighton Stores in Canada. Boo!! So I have to get my fill when we come down to Lauderdale. Happily there's on close to my moms Assisted Living residence.

Pas I lied! I really tried not to go into that Festival Flee Market one last time. But I did yesterday on the way back to our hotel What can I say? I had to go to Costco for gas for our drive up to wdw, and my car just turned into the Festival parking lot! Don't know how that happened

So here we are, our last day in Ft Lauderdale, Deerfield Beach. How can we have been here 9 days already? Is it possible? I hate that time goes way to fast on vacay.
We are out by the pool, laundry is in the machine. So laundry & packing day today! But happy packing, cause next stop, Wdw!! Yahoo.

Just found out who Miss M's first grade teacher is going to be -- and it seems like she's not with any of her Girl Scout friends. Eep. I have a feeling someone's going to be a very unhappy little person come "Meet the Teacher" day. I'm hoping there's at least one person she was friendly with from last year in her new class.

DS just started 1st grade today. He knows most of the kids in his class, but not too many really good friends. However, he didn't seem too concerned with the fact!

That's a shame Christine... When Linda menioned it to me I thought it was a fabulous idea!

Definitely a fabulous idea ...too bad I've a little one to care for everyday...And it would be her first full week of preK ...If the SW tkt was later into Sept and I could have built it over a weekend, then it might (although still slim) have been possible. That darn SW tkt just does not want to cooperate. Reminding myself of the extreme heat and humidity early to mid-Sept was somewhat comforting.

Iheart: I hope your trip continued to get better! I am glad the BC staff made your crew feel special! Loved it there.

Pas: I don't know if I could stomach $1100 a night either, but CSR sounds good too! The thread about bringing a blow up mattress has me thinking naughty thoughts about staying at CSR! I don't think I could cheat Disney though, bad karma!

SueM: Wow you are right, 9 days has flown by! Can't wait to hear your updates from WDW! How is your knee holding up?

Miss: Sorry to hear Miss M doesn't have any BFF's in her class. That is hard. Hopefully she will pal up with someone quickly! She is such a cute munchkin. Kiddos here don't go back until Sept 3, and they find out their teachers on Aug 30. We are counting down the days.

Hey girls!

It's our last full day here but we are loving it at Kidani. We spent most of yesterday at the pool here and the kiddos went nuts for the splash ground!

Today we hung around at Jambo. Had a nice lunch from Mara by the pool. It is gorgeous overe there too!

I can't believe I'm saying it but I think I like DVC more than CL. It was so nice to wash all of our clothes and do a little light cooking. Also, the space just can't be beat. The 1 bedroom is HUGE and beautiful!

I'm glad I booked std though. I just haven't seen enough animals on the savannah to justify the extra cost. Though we have enjoyed going to all to viewing areas to check it out. We did see some zebras and giraffes once for a few minutes, but other than that not a whole lot of action. Maybe we are just hitting the wrong times?

Will check back in from home over the weekend.

I think the problem with seeing animals is the heat .... I know we see many more in the cooler fall weather. For my upcoming trip I have standard view booked in Jambo. I'm really hoping I get one of the view studios with a pool view. I'm so glad that your family is enjoying your pool time .... I seem to remember really talking it up to you!

I would love to try the villas there. We were there in August 2004 and saw lots of animals early morning(6-7am) and evening. However for price I guess the std seems like a good idea.

I am amazed at BLt how much laundry I do


So easy and more fun than at home.

Same with snacks. I like to use every plate and cup and pitcher for no reason except whimsy

Extra bath at kidani I would prefer. I have "sitters" in my family

Very Happy to hear your at one of my favorite places AKL One Day I want to stay there again .

I was there end of January and the animals seemed pretty active maybe it was the cooler temps. Of course I had a Std room that faced the front of the resort so I had to grab my camera and take a hike to see the animals.



Today was not one of my better days I woke up not feeling so great too many gasy foods last night

Then My phone died I pick it up and Black screen so I am thinking it needs charged.... Nope nothing I do the troubleshoot and try reset still nothing

Try calling Ddil from my iPad but she MSG me on FB saying she at work and can't answer her phone

So I MSG her on FB and ask her to call Bob which she des, he comes over we go to the AT&T store only to have the clerk tell me after looking up my acct. that my phone is still under warranty so I have to go to the Apple store

It is now lunch time we decide to eat went to TGIF Fridays, haven't been there in over 10+ years (bad Expierence)
Good News Today's lunch was Great!

Plan to hit the apple store tomorrow as they are all in Malls 1 hour away.
I can not believe there are only 3 Apple stores nearby, New Haven, Danbury, and Farmington

I really hope it is an easy fix, like just give me a new phone

Our April trip will now be at POR Royal rooms

I took the new job!! More Disney money, and I go for my physical Tuesday. The manager wants me on board ASAP to train. My official start date is September 16th..but I will be training next week most likely. Brian doesn't believe he will see me more. My thoughts are, I will start the new place, and if it isn't what they say..I haven't left my old job so there's no harm in trying. All "my boys" from my transport job are behind me 100% so I have a lot of support!!! It will be awesome to actually be awake some days!!!

Just checked into Pop for our first night! Went to TL today, got there around noon, and waits weren't bad at all. Crush n Gusher was posted 15 min. I took the elevator up after getting our tube. Then I told daughter to pick 2 slides, my knee won't take any more then that. So we did 1 of the Storm Slide and Keelhaul Slide. Then wave pool, and a go around lazy river, my fav part!!
Have to return car rental early tomorrow morning. So did grocery shop and dropped it off with Bell Service at YC yo hold till our check in on 20th. Checking into GF tomorrow. Daughter still doesn't know! Haha

Jen-I hear you with the mattress...when we stayed at Hampton, DS12 slept on the chair...room for 6 we crammed 7..but I couldn't do it at WDW..I have totally contemplated it..especially in the rooms for 6

Yay! Hi Jeanette, I thought I heard somebody say my name! no, I could never do it. I love it there too much and wouldn't want to taint that. If the AP discount is good, maybe we could look at 2 rooms there. DH loves the look of the pool and I think the kids would like it too. but I really do want boardwalk now too, and maybe it will be all decorated for Christmas?

Cruise is now paid in full. That was a big step for me. no turning back now!

Sue...what a great surprise tomorrow , can't wait to hear about it!

My good friends are checking into the YC tomorrow ! So excited for them and they are testing out the new FP+, hope it all goes well for them!

TWO Pas updates....

Our April trip will now be at POR Royal rooms

The DH and I made our FP+ selections before we were able to customize our Magic Bands. After we were customized the bands, we were given more FP+ options and were always given a bonus. The only days we have gone back and done were the MK days. The only thing the DH hated about the bonus was for each MK day, the only bonus we were given were for the new Little Mermaid ride.

Only 20 days until we start our vacation, 21 days until we spend the night at the Swan, and 22 days until we check into the AKL. I'm just looking forward to just even walking into the AKL for the first time.
