Late morning character dining

So, if we have a breakfast reservation at 10.40 am (Tusker House in AK), does it mean the characters will still be there? Or is it too late?
Do they come and go or do they stay for the entire meal hours?

we have 3 late breakfast character dinings for our trip:
10.15 1900 Park Fare
9.50 Cape May Cafe
10.40 Tusker House

Being from the west coast we always do late breakfasts. The only one that has had disappointing character interaction was OHana. All of the others have been great and we have never felt rushed to finish eating or hurry with the characters.

Oh no, this worries me!

We aren't visiting MK until around 4 for MVMCP in December so that morning will be more of a relaxing morning and we planned to look at Christmas decorations at the deluxe resorts and have a late breakfast at Ohana. Our ADR is for 10:30. I'm hoping we aren't rushed by characters! That is always our favorite breakfast and character interaction but we've never done it past 8 before.
