We got our luggage tags!!!

Sorry if I'm posting this is the wrong spot but I'm very excited lol. And I also had a question. We got our luggage tags in the mail today but there is only 3 of them. We have 4 people (one is 2 so im assuming that's why she didn't get one since she doesn't pay yet) but what if we have more than 3 bags? How will they know which other luggage is ours if it doesn't have a Disney tag on it?

We also got 3 tags and wraparound stickers for the Magical Express. I'm guessing from the look of the envelope that that's simply a standard size. We may take 4 checked bags, so I plan to call the number in the book that came with it to ask for more, which is what the book itself recommends.

We are a family of 5 and that's how many were on our reservation so we received 5 luggage tags and 5 ME tags.

It's probably because the 2 yr. old doesn't count on the reservation.

Yes you can call them if you are at least 2 weeks out. They will send more.

If it's too late to get extras, just check them, pick them up at baggage claim and take them on the bus with you. It won't add that much more time..

You get a tag for each paying guest on a reservation. You can call and get addtl tags sent out. If they don't get to you in time, you can put a piece of unique/bright ribbon on the bags that aren't tagged with the yellow tags. When you get to the checkin counter, you will give them a description of the bag and the claim receipt for it. Someone will be sent to baggage claim to get it and put it on the truck for resort delivery.

hmmm, going to have to check when I get home to see what I recieved. I booked the ME myself on line and got the ME tickets and yellow stickers but no luggage tags. We are still over 60 days out so maybe the tags come with our resort package stuff? My 2 year old niece did not get a yellow tag with.

The yellow stickers ARE the Magical Express luggage tags.

You'll get a set of hard plastic decorative luggage tags with your Mickey Mail about 30 days out, but those are just souvenirs

We received our luggage tags and vouchers Friday. Our under 3 did not receive luggage tag or ME voucher. I called and they are sending him a voucher to ride ME. CM said he would need one to ride. Check your vouchers and see if your under 3 got one. If not call and they will send you one. I also received a Travel packet Saturday and yesterday another one came. Better 2 than 0. We are so excited!!!

Got my luggage tags yesterday (yellow ones), and just wanted to state my 2 year old got her own luggage tag and magical express pass. We didn't get anything else yet but we booked room only.

CM was wrong. Even if you forgot all of your tags you could still get on DME - they'd just look you up by your reservation number. Happens all the time.

If you sign up for DME and just leave flight info off you'd still get the yellow tags.

If you have a package you'll get the decorative luggage tags.

I had my mom listed for DME and never took her off (we drove) and we go the tags. Cute little souvenir lol

I signed up for ME but it looks like we will only need it WDW to MCO. We are going to rent a car the first day then return it the next. So we'll make our own way to WDW.

If I put the luggage tags on BUT not the yellow ME tags they won't pull my luggage right?

Correct! DME will only pull bags with the Yellow tags.

I didn't know they send you "tickets" to ride the bus?? I just got 3 decorative luggage tags. I guess I will call Tom to see if I can get more.

I called Disney and they told me, that if you have more bags than yellow stickers, to give the luggage claim stickers you get when you check in to the Magical Express desk, and that they would take it from there. We shall see.
