Accessible Cabana at CC

Can someone let me know about their experience with the Accessible Cabana at CC (family beach). I called and was told it is not released to the general public, and that I would have to call 105 days out to reserve it over the phone.

There is also only ONE, and chances are a Platinum member could get it before me?

Has anyone been able to reserve it with just Gold Status, or is it impossible.

We would need for it to to accommodate a power chair.

We have been able to get it twice now being just a silver and booking 90 days out. It is true you do have to call and both times have been told if its available it will show as reserved on the disney website within 48 hours.

Yes it does. There are no steps. It also has a ramp out to the beach if you are able to use a sand wheelchair. There is also no hammock like the other cabanas.

If no one else has requested it before the 75 day mark, then you could reserve it. It's possible this is like the other cabanas which show up as available on and off as people change their plans and cancel. You have to check often from reports here.

It's perfect. We had it in May and I just confirmed it for this December. NO stairs anywhere and it's only a short distance to Cookie's II and the rest rooms.

Keep in mind that he will have to transfer in to a sand wheelchair if he wants to go to the water And although they offer a golf cart ride to the cabanas from the tram stop there are NO wheelchair accessible carts so you will have to walk from the tram stop to the cabanas which is really easy and short.

Two years ago there were two cabanas that never showed up at all on the port excursion page. One was the the ADA cabana and then another one that some said concierge held aside.

This time when are window opened up to book all the cabanas showed up but the ADA cabana already said 'sold out' (even though it wasn't). So they do hold it aside and you do have to call to reserve the ADA cabana.

should have noted. That Cabana #1 can only be booked by the Special Needs Department. I emailed them a week before my booking window opened and they confirmed it for me the day my window opened

My mistake, after looking at our pictures it does have a hammock. There was one thing it did not have that the others did, cannot remember what it was though.

We are silver and managed to book it for the first time. My dad is in a wheelchair and is really looking forward to it. We go sept 14th fantasy

When the cabanas initially opened #1 did NOT have a hammock. The hammock was added later (less than a year)
