August 10, 2013 Eastern Caribbean cruise on the Fantasy

LOL its amazing how fast the feet grow, my son's feet have always grown faster then the rest of him, now his body is catching up... People used to laugh when he would trip over his feet at soccer!!

I have big feet, and I thought I could get away with him running out in the rain in my flip flops.. Big mistake, his feet are bigger and wider and lets say those flip flops will never be the same!!!

Yeah, I did that too. My son grows so fast, I figured I would wait until we get closer to the cruise and just buy him new clothes. He needs them anyway.

What killed me was new shoes! Man... he and I could actually swap shoes now. His foot is as big as mine!

Sorry, I haven't been on here much. Been trying to get the FE gifts done along with getting my daughter moved back home and everyone packed and everything else!

I can't wait to meet you all! So, I probably won't be back on here after Friday, for a while!

I don't know what the Skyride is. I'm sorry that it got cancelled. I hope that the zipline is still open. Guess I should check!

I think I am going to send a few of my FE items (mostly stateroom gifts). Otherwise, there are 5 of us, we can take the rest of the stuff with us using the luggage.

Movies!! YEAH!!! Now I need to run by Walgreens and get some candy! I STILL haven't finished my FE gifts. I know, I know. I should have been done awhile ago. Dang job gets in my way. I really need to pull out the suitcases tonight!! My grandma calls me every morning and asks if I'm packed yet Grandma, I have TONS of time! Ages and AGES of time! I will pack someday. I don't even care if I get to the ship and have left everything behind, I will make do, just get me on the SHIP!

Side note: We had Mickey "call" DS on his birthday to tell him about the trip. Mistake number one. Every morning he wakes up and then runs to the door to check if our luggage is by the door. I tried making him a countdown chain, but he just wants to tear it apart. I might have to resort to a sticker calendar or something! Any ideas?

Hi everyone We are the Perdue family from Wilmington, NC. We booked this cruise just a couple of weeks ago and we are very excited to be cruising again! We have been on two others, both on the Magic, so we cannot wait to get acquainted with the Fantasy. I asked to join the FB group and have been reading most of the posts on this thread (there are so many of them!).

I wanted to ask if there is a list of cruisers with the ages of children going? Our DD is 16, turning 17 in a month and starting her senior year in HS. She would love to meet some other teens that are going. Here's our family info:

DH - Mike
DW - Lisa
DD - Taylor, 16/17

Also, I saw somewhere that the meet and greet was posted, but I can't remember where now . So if anyone could pass on that info to us that would be awesome. Can't wait to meet everyone

Welcome! We booked rather late as well. My DS Ben is 16 and will be a junior this fall.
