To me it's not a cruise until u step onboard and they pronounce ur name.... There are several other things that make it what they are so it takes several things but it becomes real when they announce ur name

When I walk along deck 10 after depositing our carry-ons in a deck chair/at a table and everyone has grabbed their first serving of Topsiders grub. I'll walk around and then just say 'I'm Home!'
The fun really begins from there!

First time Cruiser here so don't know what my official start will be, but it will definitly be after I land in FL...flying is NEVER a vacation for me...lol My children are not permitted to speak to me, I do not ever - and I do mean ever- look out the window and heaven forbid if you are on the inside and need to use the rest room!!!!!! I don't take my seat belt off so you best be climbing over!

So yeah, as soon as we land vacation will start!

I know how you feel, that's why we drive 11 hours.

For me it is as soon as I am on the ship!!!!!! This is my second cruise with Disney. This time I am going to actually be on the deck the Sailing away party is held on. Last time I watched from a higher deck. I want to be in the middle of the action this time.
