Kind of bummed about FD dates have changed we have gotten it the end of Nov first week of Dec and now it's blacked out....

Dec 12 and on the crowds get busier not sure why that is when they are offering the discount...

I tried called Disney Dining and told them I had trouble getting through. It kept saying "All circuits are busy." I asked if they can transfer me so I can at least be on hold. She transferred me and somebody immediately picked up. Got my ressies!

DH called this morning & was able to get FD at POR for the dates we wanted (5 nights beginning of Nov). I was so excited!!! Then I come on here just to check out the buzz & I noticed the offer is for minimum 6 nights...now I'm nervous. I tried calling but I can't get through. I'm at work so I can't stay on hold for very long. It may have to wait until late this afternoon. The offer shown on the board now says minimum 3 nights (which I think has been typical of past offers) but Disney site still shows min 6. DH assures me that the CM confirmed that we got FD but I want to call & confirm. Should I be nervous? Anyone else book for shorter than 6 nights?

Our TA couldn't get us FD at POR where we had a reservation, but for $250 more she got us FD at Boardwalk. I'm excited!! We are there from 11/23 - 11/30, so we just made it for Thanksgiving week!!!!!! I was hoping to save money with free dining, but I am so excited to get it with a deluxe that I okayed the additional money!!

Waited 1 hour and 43 mins on hold!!!!! Was able to get FD added to my existing res. WooHoo!!!!!!! CM told my there was almost 600 in the waiting queue. Good luck to everyone trying to get thru. if you have been on hold for awhile don't give up!

Nothing but royal rooms at POR for us Thanksgiving week so we booked Coronado Springs Resort with free dining instead. I think we will like it a lot but I was looking forward to trying POR... next time maybe.

How did that add up? The rooms at Boardwalk are much more expensive than POR... is that $250 more a night? My guess is that it was $250 more to stay at Boardwalk with FD than it is to stay at POR and purchase the dining plan.

I called at exactly 7 am and waited 72 minutes to speak to a cast member. We already had reservations for POR, but of course, they were out of free dining spots there. I had to book CSR instead, and my husband was not happy about that. Now, he is calling and trying to switch :/

Okay, I called back and didn't even wait a minute before I talked to a cast member! He said the only free dining rooms left at CBR were the pirate rooms, which were right at $200 more for our 6 nights.

This may have already been discussed, and if so, I apologize, but does anyone know why they took out the week after Thanksgiving this year? Just my luck, those are are dates.
