Fantasy Galley Tour

Was just looking up info on the Galley Tour and there seems to be conflicting reports on whether they are doing these on the Fantasy or not, or if you have to be invited etc.

Just curious if anyone who has sailed the Fantasy recently has gone on a galley tour, and if so did you go to guest services to book it or were you invited?

We sailed the Fantasy on 12/1/12. The galley tour was not available through Guest Services. Don't know if it was available to Concierge guests

We sailed 12/22 and had several options for the tour. You have to get to guest services early to sign up. They space fills quickly.

That's really interesting. Previous threads have stated that these had stopped completely on all ships. It would be very cool if they have in deed been reinstated. Would love to take the tour on our upcoming Fantasy cruise.

Can any one else report on this?

It was very interesting. They had several time slots available but limited numbers allowed in each tour.

I would LOVE to do a galley tour. I thought they had been discontinued.

Maybe it was special for Christmas cruise, but they had several the 2nd sea day. Happy to have seen the inner workings.

Sailed Dec 8th on Fantasy and we did the Galley tour it was about 15 mins. The Art of the Theme tour was really cool!

Check with guest services when you board. They will have the information.

We've been told by guest services that these were not offered any longer (most recently magic & dream). Don't know why sometimes they are or aren't or what makes it possible for some folks to go on them.

We didn't see the GalleyTour on the navigator. We went straight to guest services when we boarded and asked.

The galley tour is not advertised in the navigator. You simply go to GS on the Fantasy and request tickets.

My DH always enjoys the galley tour. Just stop at guest services for the details.
