Desserts

Not really a secret, but my favorite desserts are the chocolate soufflé at Palo dinner, the Grand Marnier soufflé on the Signature menu (Lumiere's & Triton's), and the chocolate lava cake on the Captain's Gala menu.

Two words...
HECK YES!

On our last cruise, our waiters had the kitchen MAKE the Grand Marnier soufflé for our table EVERY NIGHT.

That was heavenly! And it was a 7-night cruise ;)

Seeing as it's a cruise I don't think there are any deserts, but plenty of desserts.:rotfl2:

We had the brownie which was not on the menu but suggested by our server, not very exciting but very good!

there are no deserts on the ship OR in the ocean.....a desert, by definition, has a lack of water.....

there are, however, many desserts:rotfl:

CRAP! just noticed somebody beat me to it!!!! kudos to mel

Call Room Service to ask about the Cake at Sea. They usually have a different cake each night. It might only be the dessert from the main dining room, but there's something decadent about eating it in bed (or just in your cabin, if you don't eat in bed) in your pajamas on a cruise ship. If you order it with tea or coffee, the carafe usually keeps it hot enough that you can enjoy a cup first thing in the morning, too.

My honey wants a home made apple pie. He asked why there wasn't any at our last MDR service and the M'D put an instant order in for him, but it was the kid's version. He still ate it and was happy with the quick resourcefullness and service. But can we request one night that they actually make an apple pie desert???

Sounds good, and thank you for your help :)

There are great desserts at the Cove cafe all the time. Chocolate covered strawberries, tartlets, cake, bars. All bite sized so you'll need 2-3 at a time.

And of course there is the mango (and, if you are lucky, the coconut/pinapple) soft serve.

This tip will help ---- DO NOT TAKE THE ELEVATORS!!! Stairs everywhere!!! I know, I know, all dressed up for dinner - I can understand not taking the stairs then.

My deck 2 to deck 9 stair climb "chant" goes: "eat more deserts, eat more deserts...."

I try to take the stairs whenever possible, however, with bad knees, I can only handle going up stairs for about 1 deck (sometimes 2, if I take it slow), and going down I can do about 2 or 3 decks.
