A rabbi, a priest, and a pastor board the Wonder: we're back!

I can't imagine. :sad2:

We're closing in on 5 months!

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: It's so ridiculously exciting.

I'm thinking about doing the CC 5K with Joshua. It can be walked. :thumbsup2 Should take an hour tops. I was looking at a souvenir thread and how cool would a CC 5K medal be? Unique.

It's a nice walk, mom and I did it the first time we went to CC because I wanted to go to the observation tower. Little did we know that we could have taken the tram to Serenity Bay and walked from there. It would have been much quicker. She didn't enjoy it as much as I did though, but she'll joke about it now.

Is it around the whole island? I didn't know there was a tram to Serenity Bay? I hear the lunch options are also better at Serenity Bay.

There's an observation tower? I showed Joshua Pelican Plunge and that's all she wrote. He's all over that. But from what I'm reading the water might not be that warm. I'm guessing its warmer than any Utah Feb water though. :rotfl:

Not around the whole island, actually a good part of the island is off limits, they left it natural. From what I'm finding online only 55 of 1,000 acres have been developed.

The first tram does two stops at the family areas, then you have to get off and catch a separate tram to Serenity Bay. It's definitely walkable but to me that takes up prescious time that could be used doing something else  I think the lunch at SB is better, there are different options and its a much more relaxed atmosphere.

The observation tower is something that's worth going to once and then you're able to say you went :rotfl: you can see the ship in the distance and the flat landscape of the island. I enjoyed the walk but it seemed to take forever. Going on bikes would be much faster but then you wouldn't get the medal.

Pelican Plunge does look like a lot of fun. It's still on my list to try. Hopefully it won't be too chilly.

Thanks friends for keeping the countdown going...we're in Vegas until Monday night. :woohoo:

Just for you since you are living large in Vegas this weekend! You look like you are having a terrible time! :rotfl: Not!

Oh my gosh you two look so good! Have a great time!

:goodvibes You're so sweet. It was an amazing trip. Just what we needed, some non kid time. Tomorrow is our 20th wedding anniversary too. Time flies.

What fun! You guys look great!

:thanks: Its astounding how a few piña coladas adds a smile to my face. :rotfl2:

Woot woot! :woohoo: I don't know about living large but we sure had a blast. At Gordon Ramsey's Pub at Caesars we had the best bartender ever. He shared quite a few samplers with us. I love the lack of rules in Vegas.

:beach: 165 days!!! :beach:

Welcome back! Glad you had a great trip! Happy Anniversary :)

:goodvibes Thanks friend. 20 years today. I can hardly believe it. We're both working, kids are scattered all over, but I guess that's why we've made this this far. Aside from love ;) we make a pretty good team.

I feel so behind. I'm playing catch up. :hyper:

I'm glad you were able to get away and have some quality time, you deserve it! :)

The kids are scattered again?

I know the feeling. It'll all be in the same place when you have time :)

The kids are scattered again. Joshua went to Park City with his buddy and their family. Gabby went to St. George, southern Utah, with some girlfriends to visit another friend's grandma (all info verified by me, the freak paranoid mom ;)), and Chloe has been babysitting for 3 days straight earning a nice little chunk of change.

How's your week? Anything fun planned for the weekend?
