Ok here is what you need to do: use the travel plan number that's what I did since I have a full package & that ID has letters.

I'm not part of the FP+ testing as of yet.. I got one for 9/14

I just called 407-939-7849 which is Disney.com web support. They said that only those that received the email to be part of the test can reserve a BOG time.

Did anyone here get the email? I'm wondering if they were able to get a confirmation number when they went through the process. I didn't get the email but it let me schedule a date/time...we have a room only reservation at CSR. I printed the page showing the date/time. I guess we will see how it plays out.

I am pretty sure that is a pat reply that they give. That said, If I get in with my confirm great, if not, I'll be back the next day to stand on line if the line is too long at 1 pm on the day I picked. I lost nothing by making the reservation, in fact I'm pretty sure it is not going to work but nothing ventured, nothing gained.

When people started signing up for Magic Bands when they saw them on their MDE page they were told that they wouldn't really get them if they didn't receive an email. A number of DISers did get shipping notices but never got an email stating they could be part of the test.

I tried it for fun, but I got an error...don't know if it was my DVC reservation number. I have a CRO number, but I'm chock full on food during that part.

I'm an August tester. I booked my BOG ressie and my meal selection today. On my way home from work!

Wow !! That was fun ! Booked for Sept 2nd--- If nothing else, it was fun looking at the Cupcakes, and making meal selections--- (I hear the Roast Beef Sandwich is really good !!!)

Made sure I printed everything--- Hoping it will work-- Its an interesting concept !

Same boat here--- never received an e-mail. We have a room-only ressie as well, and was able to book the lunch, (and select the food/drinks) without any hassle at all-- if it works, fine--- If not, oh well- It was fun !!!

I have no idea what the travel plan number is but I used my magicband confirmation number and it worked. I have a 12 digit number.

Made my reservation earlier. Went to go back in to see if it is still there and it will not let me log in. Says login or password is incorrect. I know I am typing it in correctly each time. Can't even get into MDE. Anyone else having login problems?

Thanks so much for posting this! I was able to get a lunch for 08/18 (also staying at POP and received our magicbands, did fastpass+ reservations)! Now I don't have to worry about lining up too early or having to be aware of how long the line is.

No problems here but we actually got an email inviting us to the test not just putting in our information hopeing.

I received the invite email but cannot get into the system to make the reservation. I am at BLT now but not going into the parks until tomorrow. I checked with the concierge and they couldn't get it to work either. They called over to MK guest services but they said the system might be down. I hope I can get a ressie while we are here.

Not going til September, but I was able to get in on 9/24. If it works that is great. If not, no big deal was never really in the plan anyway. But I would love to go right in and take a look and get a little something to eat.

Since its a test and they never did this before they won't be asking for a cc to hold a BOG lunch, its technically a CS ADR Test, not like with dinner ( someone would have posted if they had to do this ) again who knows about your other question ...sorry

Just found out about this and was able to book lunch for this weekend. This will make my son's birthday extra special.

all I can tell you is they asked for no CC info when I made the reservation. Have no idea about the menu issue.
