I am so bored with my current workout list! What do my fellow dis'ers work out to? I love all genres and music styles, so I'm open to all suggestion.

Thank you all!

Right now my gym playlist is heavily based around Sleigh Bells and Kanye West. I prefer songs that are kind of hard, loud, and aggressive...keeps me motivated! So mostly rock and hip-hop. NIN, Tupac, Cypress Hill, Queens of the Stone Age, etc. For cool-downs and strength training I'll occasionally switch to some dance music. Daft Punk's current album is my warm-up set right now. :thumbsup2

Funeral for a Friend- Elton John

Someone Saved My Life- Elton John
Stranglehold- Ted Nugent

I downloaded the soundtrack from "Queen of the Damned". Hey sometimes you need some depressing hard music to work out to.:rotfl:

I do Zumba so I hear a LOT of Pitbull and I think he's great for any work-out! Also, David Guetta (I think is his name?).

I love it - Icona Pop

Are you going my way? - Lenny Kravitz

Run- Pink Floyd

I'm too Sexy- Right Said Fred

Under Pressure- David Bowie

Anything pretty much by Adele.

Oh yeah, Pit Bull, Aerosmith, some John Mayer, Katy Perry, Rhianna.

Also, David Guetta (I think is his name?).

That song is my jam... :rotfl2: (Pitch Perfect joke)

"Right Round" by Flo Rida is a good one!

The one that seems to make me move is that "I Love It" song (which was previously mentioned above)...it's probably been out for a long time and took me to just now to discover it.

Don't laugh? "9 to 5" by Dolly Parton. It motivates me okay? Don't judge.

I don't know how long it's been out, but it gets me to move too. It cracks me up and has a great beat.

It reminds me somewhat of that song, "I get knocked down", (I guess is the title). The rebellious shout outs, and strong beat hooks me every time. :)

I take my iPod on walks and have this really weird sequence that I tend to follow. I start out with Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. Then I switch over to Queen's Somebody to Love and Don't Stop me now. From there, I tend to switch to Murder Murder from the Jekyll and Hyde Broadway soundtrack and One Day More from Les Miserables. From there, I just play whatever random stuff appeals to me on that particular day. Told you it was weird!;)

Very eclectic...

Kanye West
Fleetwood Mac
Tonic
Coldplay (some songs; others are too slow. I started running to Clocks today, perfection!)
Ok Go
Queen

OP here, I'm loving all the.suggestions and I'm downloading them off of I tunes now! Keep them coming! :)

Ok, it's funny but: RuPaul's Supermodel(you better work) . I love Pit Bull.

I don't work out, BUT if I did, I would listen to Macklemore's Can't Hold Us on a continuous loop. I could seriously listen to and sing that song all day long. :rotfl: The full version, of course, not the shorter versions they play on the radio.

I love Murder Murder from Jekyll and Hyde! Defying Gravity from Wicked is always at the top of my list.

I've been playing the Zombies, Run! app A LOT lately (it's a fitness app with a serial-style zombie apocalypse story, and 3-4 times during a 30 minute run you suddenly hear "Warning, zombies detected" and you have to book it like the undead are on your tail) and every time Can't Hold Us comes up during a zombie chase, it is the best run I have ever had in my entire life. :rotfl:

With that in mind, my running playlist has taken on a bit of a dark post-apocalyptic feel (because it's hard to take terrified "They're right behind you! Don't look back - just RUN!" warnings seriously when you're running to Ke$ha and Katy Perry...). Lots of David Guetta, Florence + The Machine, Ok Go, Arctic Monkeys. And the entire Danger Days CD by My Chemical Romanace - OMG, that whole album is just made for running from zombies. :lmao:
