fitbit flex

I have been looking at this online for a while and I am trying to decide whether or not I want to buy it. Does anyone have any experience with this? What are your thoughts?

I have the Fitbit One and I love it. I clip it to my bra every morning and let it do it's thing. I can't wait to see how many steps I log each day during my Disney trip. One difference between it and the Flex is the Flex can't log stairs. I'm guessing it logs them as regular steps but you might want to check on that if it's important to you.

I have the flex... I love love love it! It's helped improve my exercise by a large amount. I was doing about 30-45 min of cardio every few days and now I do a little more than an hour pretty much every day. I find myself doing more just to make sure I get my steps in each day!

I'm quite obsessive about getting my steps in now even on my rest days! I've had it since July 2nd, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone!

I love it so much, I blogged about it :)

I am very tempted by this too....I like the way it monitors sleep too...and it can be linked to other apps such as map my run...would be interested to hear others thoughts

Thanks for the input. I really think that I'm going to buy it. It seems like I can focus more on getting my exercise in. I've been slacking a lot lately.

I've had mine since July 2nd, and I agree w/ PP, it is a great tool to motivate you. I have it synched to MyFitnessPal and my iphone, and it so great to be able to track where I am for calories and activities. I've lost 6 pounds since the 2nd, and there is no way that would have happened w/o the constant positive feedback. I had no idea I was as active as I actually am, but w/ the flex and MyFitnessPal I've been eating 1800 calories a day and losing. Before the flex I would have just assumed I was eating too much at that calorie level, and then KEPT eating, thus no weight loss.
My husband went from an average of 3000 steps a day to > 10,000...just because he wants to see the lights all flash.

Excellent question. I was wondering the same thing. I know that it tracks your steps, but I don't know how it tracks other exercise. I hope that someone can answer that for us.

You can add exercise like Zumba via the app on your phone.

I have the Flex and it only comes off to get charged. It's a great product and I love it. Just make sure you adjust it (online) to fit you (stride, which hand you use it on. Etc)

I just add my other stuff into My Fitness Pal and it syncs with the fitbit. The only thing I've come across that it doesn't measure steps too well is my elliptical at home. But the weird thing is, when I go to the one at the gym, it seems to count. :confused3

My DH just came home with one for me this morning...I got the red one...very easy to setup and no problems linking with my iPhone!
