Does anybody know the CD & ACD Jimmy & Leslie's last name?
Or know where they are now?

Robin & Angel "D" :thumbsup2

After breakfast, DSis and I met up with mom and dad in Diversions where we decided to play some board games. After my day by the goofy pool yesterday I was glad for a morning inside.

We found an open horseshoe shaped booth table and picked up Apples to Apples. DSis had played it in college and said it was a fun game. She was right. We had some good arguments and some good laughs.

The world's best strawberry daiquiris made by Aleksander in Diversions made the arguments and laughs even better and perhaps louder. I also liked that our drinks matched the colors of the game.

After, DSis and I went to learn how to draw Pluto in Animator's Palate.

or Pluto with Elephantiasis

Not sure about Leslie's last name, but Jimmy's is Lynett.

DSis and I had lunch at Beach Blanket Buffet after our attempt at drawing Pluto.

My favorite cold soup is back but this time with mango

The salmon was my favorite and I got extra of the potato since someone else in line was getting seconds - I figured it had to be good and it was.

I came back from the dessert buffet with this

Still not exactly sure what it is - some kind of coconut dessert

After lunch, DSis and I went to hear a lecture by a '"clean-up artist". It was very interesting to hear about her experiences working for Disney during a boom time (during Pochohantas and Lion King - Lion King by the way was the project no one wanted to be on at the time) and then losing her job and then coming back during this Pixar-age and working on shorts.

Then we went to the Promenade Lounge to loose horribly in the Disney Parks Trivia game. Some people on this cruise REALLY knew EVERYTHING about Disney. It was pretty amazing.

When we got back to the room, mom and dad had gotten mini cup cakes from concierge - I believe there were four before we got to the room.

How funny, "Lion King the project no one wanted to be on". We saw the first movie in the theaters 3 times and even named our cat Nala. Even our kids love that movie. :upsidedow

LAVENOUS!!
I absolutely agree with your objection of the behavior of the cast members that you saw on the tram and poolside. It certainly takes away from the magic--but does make for some good storytelling.:)

LAVENOUS!

Have not heard that word in six years!! I saw MIKE SUPER in 2007 on the ship.

Yeah isn't that interesting! Everyone wanted to be on Pocahontas and all the attention was on that movie. Maybe that's what made Lion King so great - they were free to be more creative.

Great Reviews, I'm gaining weight just looking at the food pictures

Tell me about it. I'm still dieting!

That is hilarious. He's had a lavenous run with that word!

Another beautiful sunset before festivities start at pirate night

In our last two cruises, I have always missed actually going to pirate night opting to see the fireworks from our balcony instead. This trip, I was determined to see the actual show which I was glad I did.

Lots of people though not as many as there could be. Many - Most do dress in pirate attire. So if you are game make sure you pack your eye patch and peg leg as you will be in good company.

we happened to be standing next to Heidi Blickenstaff, the Broadway singer from the night before. She is a talented performer so we shouldn't be to hard on her, but just kind of awkward on stage being herself. But once she was in character she was good but wish she had better song choices.

I really loved seeing the characters in their pirate attire!

We were standing on the 10th decking looking down onto to the dance floor. The entertainment is also projected on the large screen.

"sweet moves chip"...

I was all set ready to see Mickey come in to save the night...

When he was called down from the smoke stack. There were obviously some kind of issues so they carried on with more dancing. No characters just cast members who kept the dancing going.

Well no characters except the Cheshire Cat...

It was a very eerie feeling the smiling moon kept circling around the ship. Well in actuality we kept circling. The Captain was doing his best to find some wind in order to have the firework display.

He eventually succeeded, well enough to safely set off the fireworks. But these were right over head. Normally the wind carries them further off the starboard but this time it was pretty much directly above. so unfortunately my parents were not able so see them this time from their balcony.

I am so glad the Captain made such an effort to have the fireworks since there were, surprisingly, no firework displays at Disneyland during the three nights we were there (spoiler alert).

This morning the weather was a little rougher - not bad at all but the adult pool was closed.

but still the seats are all taken first thing in the morning.

looked like a wave pool

Again, no one was at the family pool and DSis and I sat and watched Aladdin by the pool. I guess the seats are comfier at the adult pool, but I liked having the pool to myself practically and loved watching the old movies.

DSis and I had a hearty breakfast at the Beach Blanket Buffet. Funny how after a big dinner you are so hungry in the morning.

We enjoyed the view off the back of the ship

DSis and I return to the goofy pool and to Alladin. This time getting in the water to watch.

Then I get settled into a lounge chair to sun on the top deck while DSis goes to the room to change.

All to myself!

DSis and Mom decide to go to a cheese tasting class. I told them I didn't need a class for that - I'm familiar enough.

I made the right call.

Apparently the speakers just read from printed out Wikipedia entries.

Mmm... boring

So sunning and learning about cheese made us all hungry and I met DSis and both parents at Beach Blanket Buffet for lunch.

They had a baked potato bar at the very end of the buffet - where the omlette station was in the mornings. This was the best baked potato! Honestly. Though, I don't have baked potatoes very often - this one was one of the best I'd had, anytime. The swordfish was okay - they had set up an outdoor grill again. But the potato was the best.

How awesome! My mom would love something like that. We're on the transtlantic next year and hopefully they'll have something similar.

She's big on going to the buffets to find new foods and I'm lazy and just go to Triton's/Lumiere's.

I love that on the Wonder they're always using that outdoor grill :wizard:

BTW your breakfast plate---- that's exactly the same stuff my DH would get. Donut, fruit and other random pastries. Mine would be all meats
