August 25, 2013 Dream - Who's here

Folks check your mail! We got our luggage tags (and cruise summary/documents) from Disney today! Just thought I'd give y'all a heads-up...

Chad

I was just coming to post the same! So excited to see the pkg. it's getting so close!!!!

\\Thanks again for all your work on the FE:thumbsup2 It is greatly appreciated...

And now hearing people are getting there document packages make things very very exciting:cool1:

Ok, I had a few people cancel over the weekend. Because of that I was able to add the JeffandAya family to the list. They are in Group 2. Counts are similar to what they were a couple of weeks ago, but the LIST HAS CHANGED.

Please take a look at the list.

There are still several people that I don't have room numbers for yet, and I will fill them in as I get them.

Hi, my family and I were originally going to go on the Dream cruise on the 29th but scheduling in our life messed things up. Long story short, we changed it to the cruise on the 25th and I am hoping we can meet some of you! :flower3:

I can't do the FE but I'm hoping to make some magnets to put on our door. This is our first cruise and I want it to be as fun as possible! My two little girls, ages 4 and 6, are excited but not as excited as I am.

Welcome. It's exciting to get our cruise documents. Only 37 days!:dance3:I love making door magnets and always decorate my door. I makes it so easy to find, especially for the little ones. Glad you are joining us.:cheer2::cheer2:

Got our documents today, FE list has been printed and our son is ready to start making things. The kids (Zen-10 and Wynter-2.5) are really looking forward to this.

We got our cruise documents today.

This is our first cruise. So we were wondering when are to deliver our FE gifts? Is there a time or is it when you can/want to?

Sent from my iPad using DISBoards

We got ours on Wednesday, and its hard to believe this will be our 9th Disney cruise. (They are soooo awesome!)
We usually like to deliver our FE mid cruise, but its great if everyone does it at different times so everything doesn't get delivered at once. My youngest daughter gets so excited when we return back to the stateroom and she can see goodies down the hall in her pocket. Its a wonderful thing!

By the WAy Baleeve, don't get too excited about having your passports stamped. 12 cruises and they never stamped mine. They say that you can turn it into Guest Services and it might get stamped but that didn't work either. The only stamps I have are from going through customs when leaving the country at airports. Spain and Canada.:confused3

Hi Tinked

I was going to walk to the place right off the ship and see if they could stamp it, should I not try?

Sorry, don't know anything about that but I could be interested in that too. Does anyone know if you can get your passport stamped off ship in Nassau?:confused3

Yes you can get your passport stamped in Nassau. I stole this from another disboard thread....

I've done it twice It's super easy and quick. When you are coming back to the ship look for a "guards shack". There, tell them that you want to get your passport stamped and they will let you through the gates. You go inside this little building, walk down a hallway and the office is there. It took maybe 2 minutes. The gentleman just takes our passport, stamps it and that's it. They have always been super nice to us. After that, go the same way you came in.

We lost another family from group 1, so I added a late family from the facebook page. I am awaiting their family information and room number but I put them on the list.

So the list counts remain about the same at mid-50's for each group. There are still a few people that have not responded to repeated emails for room numbers so I am not very hopeful.

Keep checking the list.

Thank you for this! :)

The only stamp I have is Canada so I am going to get my boys new passports christened with Nassau and add a stamp to mine.

My thanks too. I've never heard this. Do you think it's true for all ports?:goodvibes

I've already reported that we received our cruise documents; however, I haven't told anybody that we got our WDW documents today for our post-cruise Disney adventure. 3-nights at Pop Century! See y'all in31.5 days...

I'll be at BLT post cruise. So excited getting so much mail from Disney. Awaiting vouchers for trip back to MCO and they I'll have all the paperwork.:rotfl:
It was on the boards today that the following movies are playing on the ships:
Finding Nemo 3D
Oz the Great and Powerful
Monsters University
Lone Ranger
Wreck it Ralph
Ironman 3
and after 8/9 - Planes

Going to be tough seeing everything I want to see on the ship and doing everything I want to do too. Four days is not enough time!:confused3

Oooh those are some great movies to choose from. We haven't seen Lone Ranger yet and we're going to hold off on seeing Planes so we can see it onboard. :)

I just changed my post cruise resort stay from POR to AKL and I'm beyond excited. :cool1:

I'm calling it our SURF AND SAFARI VACATION! :lmao:

Did the show Wolverine last night? I realize a Sony movie but Disney owns Marvel, right? ( we are on the 8/29 cruise)

baleeve--you are going to love AKL:love: There is so much to do there. Tour of the Lodge, nightly slide shows, night vision goggle times, zero entrance pools, restaurant tours, Scenic overlooks, lots of animals. Jambo House or Kidani? Both are great!
