Hess gas station

I remember reading on one of these forums that someone had taken a bus to Downtown Disney then walked over to the Hess gas station to buy bottled water. Can someone please tell me how far the gas station is from downtown Disney?

It's about a 5 minute walk from the Pleasure Island area of DTD. You'll be able to see the Hess station so there's no chance of heading in the wrong direction.

The area you want to get off the bus at is the Marketplace side of DTD it is directly across from there cross at the light with the CMs coming & going from their parking lot

I read if you have have a staples reward card you can have water shipped to your resort for free. May be easier than going to DTD.

There is also a Hess station easily walkable from BW.

true BUT smaller than the one DTD and I have rarely seen cases of water there at least that's what I presume OP is looking for ( kind of hit & miss what they carry)

For people with a car the largest Hess and the largest selections (even made to order sandwiches etc) is at the Car Care Center near MK entrance, well actually the exit I think I spend too much time WDW :rotfl:

Do any of these Hess stations sell eggs? Is it worth the convenience to go here or should we get some of our groceries off property? We will have a car.

I don't believe they do If you're not doing a major shop go right over to the Crossings shopping center (when Hotel Plaza Blvd ends it right in front of you) there is a Goodings Supermarket, expensive but not for a few items

For a Lot of items Super Wal-Mart go down towards the Crossings and make a right hand turn, This is one I highly recommend BUT when you make the right do NOT be in the far right lane or you will end up on I-4 towards Tampa be in the middle when making the wide right! so that you are driving UNDER the I-4 Easy Peasy ! Down a few miles on the right ...cross St is Polynesian Isle Blvd

This is where I do my weekly or bi-weekly food shopping as I work in the area and live in the country..really there is nothing here so I would have to travel anyway Foods are ALWAYS fresh and for travelers there are approx 4 rows of Disney stuff shirts, mugs, towels, you name it, I try VERY hard not to go down those aisles

Its a Super Wal-Mart open 24/7

 A store to be avoided at all costs.

Instead of going directly across into the Crossroads shopping center, turn left and drive a little further to a Winn Dixie on your right.

The SuperWalmart is probably an even better choice.

:rotfl2: I like to run in there ok Occasionally but yes not the first choice it is expensive like I said ( laughing at your reaction ::yes:: Jeff )
