Parking fee at resort

If we stay at POFQ but drive over to AKL to eat at Boma, would we have to pay parking there? It will be our first trip to drive and have access to a vehicle. For the most part, we'll use Disney transportation, but thought it might be more convenient to drive to AKL from POFQ for dinner rather than take bus to AK, wait while bus stops at Kidani, and then get off at Jambo House. I know we won't have to pay to park at POFQ, just didn't know if our pass allowed us to visit other resorts (for meal reservations) and park there at no charge. Just trying to calculate costs. Thanks!

No, you don't have to pay to park at another resort, as long as you're staying at a Disney owned resort. Just make sure you have your parking pass from POFQ. The only way you would have to pay is if you have to valet park because the lot is full, or if it's raining and you decide to valet park. Even if you're not staying at a Disney resort, I don't think you have to pay to park for dinner.

You are correct :). Anyone can visit and park at any Disney resort free of charge whether they are staying onsite or not. The parks, however, are a different story as parking at any theme park is free only to Disney resort guests.

Although I've heard that in order to park at any of the resorts on the monorail loop you must have proof of a reservation.

And to AP holders.

Only at very very busy times and sometimes not even then. I've actually only really heard of it at Boardwalk, which isn't a monorail resort.
