ETA: I have looked at the ones on PortOrleans.org, just wanting more.

Go to Pizza man's posts. He has lots of pics. The best AB rooms are in building 14. I think they are called preferred rooms. You can request them.

We're flying. We've driven the last four years and I'm tired of the nine hour drive. I've looked through almost this entire thread and checked out the port orleans pics. Hopefully we get a decently close building. I've already sent a fax requesting a close one!

We are driving, but our trip is about 7 hours and there are 5 of us! Flying would almost take as long by the time we drive to airport, wait, fly, wait for ride to POR, plus the cost would be way too much for 5 to fly vs ride. We plan on getting a lot of driving done in early morning hours. Glad you requested a building close to the food court. Hope you have a great vacation!

We have two ADRs LeCellier at 2:40 pm Tuesday and BOG @ 6: 40 on Thursday. Other than that we are doing the quick service food plan. Have done the regular in the past and did not like being tied down all those ADRs.

We will be leaving around 3:00 am. Hope to be there by 10:00 am Sunday morning. I will never sleep. Tried to rest this afternoon and phone kept ringing! I gave up, will sleep at Disney tomorrow night. Will let you know our room # when we get there. Maybe we will get a chance to meet!

Thanks for the pictures!

I had my mind made over POFQ for more than a year, but we save around $900 with the FD, and we have 2 other out-of-country trips planned within 8 months, so, it appeared wiser to look into cutting some expenses. I was quite sad.

BUT, with all the pictures you posted, I'm falling for POR!

This whole thread brings a smile to my face because three months ago, I was at WDW with my family and I walked those same pathways at POR.

I liked the food at Boatwright's, yet I respect your opinion.
