Here is how it is worded:

When you visit Walt Disney World Resort for stays most nights 1/5-3/2/14 and 3/16-4/12/14, you have the chance to enjoy some great offers to help you experience all that's new to see and do.
For example:

$ 2,080 *

for stays most nights 1/12-1/16/14 and 1/20-2/12/14.
That's a savings of $419!

Disney Dining Plan†
Purchase a 5-night/6-day Magic Your Way vacation package for a family of four that includes accommodations at a select Disney Moderate Resort, Theme Park tickets AND the Disney Dining Plan for just
$ 2,550 *

for stays most nights 1/12-1/16/14 and 1/20-2/12/14.
That's a savings of $657!

the * just refer to the usual prices based on 2 adults, 1 junior and 1 child, not available at Art of Animation Little Mermaid, kids over 10 are adults and off adult menu, etc.

There is no further information on dates on if President's would be blocked out but from looking at it, I wouldn't think so.

We will be there for President's Day and I hadn't even dared to hope we would get a discount, but it would be so wonderful. This trip is going to be pricey.

I got that pin today as well! When I called they said today was the first day for booking with it. It saved me more than a room discount would so I'm excited! I don't know about Presidents Day, I booked 2/20-2/26. There were no blackout dates listed in the email.

Wow congrats on the pin you all. Keepin my fingers crossed for one too.

I've received every pin this year except this last one! Figures when I want to go....but my neighbor that we are traveling with got one thank goodness! 35% off GF!!!!!

Has anyone ever had a pin attached to their name without getting an email?
I kinda wanna call and check. But would hate to waste their time...
I wonder if this is one of those deals that will cover your entire stay as long as your check in day is covered hmmmm....

for the PIN this year, I found out my mom had one by calling - she didn't receive the mailling until about 3 weeks after I had called so it doesn't hurt to call...pixiedust:

I've never gotten a pin. :sad1: But... the pins are often precursors for what will come, so I can hold out hope that maybe there WILL be some sort of public discount offered during Feb!

I called and no pin for me. I would usually agree with you totally about the pins turning into general public offers, but that precedent seems broken with the free dining pins that were sent out for the week after Thanksgiving for this year and now the "unofficial" GP offer doesn't include that week...but DOES include Thanksgiving week (weird!...unless they goofed on dates and they will be changed when the REAL deal comes put on Aug 1.) So for right now that throws my whole system of waiting patiently and assuredly right out the window!

Not only am I looking for a discount, I have started counting my days....218 more days!

I'm not that familiar with this stay, play, and dine offer. What if you want to stay at AoA for example but want the regular dining plan. Can you upgrade from the quick service to the regular dining plan like you can with the free dining promotion? And if your stay is longer than the 5-nights/6-days, do you just pay rack rates for the additional days? Thanks!

Yes, you can upgrade because I just did it. I'm booked at PoP for 6 nights and just got this pin and used it yesterday. She first put me on the quick service but I told her I wanted the DDP and she adjusted it for me. When you say AoA, you are talking about a suite though, right? The Little Mermaid section was blacked out, as usual, for this discount.

Thanks! Yes, I was talking about an AoA suite. So just to clarify, with the stay, play, dine pin the CM adjusted your package so all adults pay the kids prices for the regular dining plan (instead of the quick service) and tickets? And then do you pay rack rates for your extra night? Thanks again for the help!

Yes, I paid the upgrade fee for all of us from the QS to the DDP. No, I think as long as your trip is under 14 days or something, it's all included in the pin. You don't have to just do 5 nights!

Does anyone know if there is a certain park to avoid on marathon day? I think it starts in Epcot & ends in MK? Is it during off hours?

I'm really keeping my fingers crossed for some sort of promotion for Feb, and that touringplans is correct as we pick parks for the end of President's day week.

Can you confirm if by "paid the upgrade fee" you mean you got to purchase the DDP at child's prices or if you paid for QDSP at child's prices and then paid the price to upgrade? Because we are staying at AOA in February and would also want DDP, but don't know if it will be cheaper to stay mod or deluxe and have it included.
