Wouldn't miss it for the world.. ANd i have the notifications correct this time!!!

Mo, you are first! So glad to have you along.

Yay! Have I made the first page for the first time ever on one of your reports? Lol

Yes you have. :)

Since we'll be at Yacht Club for a couple of those days, I think we definitely need to fit a little Grand Marnier Slush meet in there. :)

I would love to do that. Let's see as we progress here if our dates match at Epcot.

Joining the fun of planning your next trip.:surfweb:

:welcome: thank you for joining; I'm delighted to have you here.

I'm here! :goodvibes

Hi, Karin. :)

Found you!

I'm glad you did...wouldn't be the same without you.

I am joining along...I enjoy your trip reports and ptrs!

Thank you so much...very sweet of you.

I did not know that about you. I watch very little television, but I am addicted to NCIS; however, you and I look at Mark Harmon in a different way. :rotfl2: I sure do hate hearing that Cote De Pablo (Ziva David) is leaving the show. I loved her character and the flirty relationship between her character Ziva and Anthony DiNozzo was awesome.

I am devastated that Ziva is leaving; I feel as bad as I did when Prentiss left Criminal Minds and I do NOT like her replacement at all.

Oh and lest I forget, I am looking forward to this pre-trip report!!

Thank you, Bob.

I have seen you around the DIS :wave2:, but I am officially popping in on this one! Can't wait to hear about your trip plans

:wave: thank you for coming in to join the PTR....happy to have you here.

Here. And will try to keep up.

Thanks, Pat...and trust me, I know it's hard. Get here when you can.

Thanks, Scott.

Wow, a TR and a PTR going on at the same time......... so glad you have so much in the works!!! :woohoo:

Hi there; happy to have you on this PTR as in the past. With the short time until my next trip, I figured I best get it started. I'll try to keep up with both of them. :faint:

Arrival day plans coming up.

Hey Kathy! I'm here! We'll be having fun at WDW at the same time! Gotta compare park schedules for sure! :)

Absolutely; I will be deeply disappointed if we don't at least get a hug. I'm just sorry my fellow Hawks loving guy won't be with you.

Second page, I'm not too late!

Hi, Mel; you are here and that's what counts.

I am doing a happy dance...:cool1: why? I WAS THE FIRST ONE!!!!!!!!

WOOOOO HOOOOOOOOO!

ok Honesly. you and Mark make are amazing. 30 years of marriage! God Bless! you really give me hope! You adn Mark are such inspiration!!!

the kids of course are ADORABLE!

Yes, you were first. I wish I had a prize for you. :)

Thank you; like I said, like any couple, we've had our ups and downs, our health scares (Mark's heart attack, my breast cancer), losing family members, etc., but we stuck through it all.

Just saying hi. I'll read when we get back home. Or when I'm bored sitting on the beach and need reading material.

Well, since I've gotten nothing done between starting this PTR, updating the girls trip TR, catching up on other threads and doing laundry and getting my pedicure done (who wants to clean anyway?), I figured I might as well get arrival day up and going.

Before, I do, here is a video. I put two on my TR from the wedding and this is the kids first dance. Let me explain something for those who watch it. Both of my kids got their dancing from their father. Which means they are awful. :rotfl2: They certainly did not get it from mom. Mark was supposed to take two lessons, but he had injured his kidney the day before the first lesson. He did make it the second lesson a week before the wedding, but didn't have a lot of practice time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ITycFlrXvJ8

So, we are leaving on Friday, August 16, for our longest trip yet. We have an 8 a.m. flight out of Midway Airport. I much prefer O'Hare, but we couldn't beat the $200 fare we got out of Midway. We are scheduled to land in Orlando around 11:30 a.m. After arrival, we will head here:

From there, we will take the most Magical bus to our home for the next seven nights:

We have come to love this resort and it is now always our first choice.

I'm sure our room won't be ready, but I will check in and this time will be prepared with our swimsuits in our carry on bag and we will head to the pool. I will also check back on the status on our room after the fiasco last year when we never got a text that our room was ready and we finally got in our room at 8:30 a.m. We do have a studio near the Hospitality House which will be nice as we'll be able to use the main pool this time.

After some pool time and lunch at the pool, hopefully our room will be ready, our luggage delivered and our Garden Grocer order on the way. We will then head to the bus stop for our ride here:

Depending on what time we get to the MK, we may or may not have time for an attraction or two or time to browse the stores before our 7 p.m. dinner ADR here:

Yes, I am eating here the second time in two months and the third time in eight months. I do love this place and so happy that Mark and I got an ADR for our arrival night.

After dinner, we'll do a few rides and then head back to OKW for our first night sleep before our first full day at the parks.

Hi Kath, feel like old friends now!!! Happy you started a pre-trip report. Looking forward to it. Have a good night. Elaine

Sounds like a great arrival day plan, swimming, MK and BOG! So jealous you get dinner there 3 times in 8 months. ;):goodvibes

I just have to tell you, purple is your color!
That was the perfect mother of the groom dress....:goodvibes

Joining in the fun. Congrats on 30 years!! Your arrival day sounds perfect. I love OKW too - so relaxing! :goodvibes

Yay!!! That sounds like a wonderful first day! And how awesome that you were able to snag BoG for your arrival night. I am a little stuck on the menu here, and I am not sure if anything looks appealing to us or not. Do you have any recommendations?

D~

I don't care for O'Hare. But I grew up going out of Midway so I guess it's just where I feel comfortable. I only ever flew out of O'Hare twice for international travel so maybe that's where the aversion comes from.

I was just thinking "What happened to the CSR lady?" You are definitely turning OKW into your home. Do you book through Disney or rent points when you stay there? It's on my list. I think it looks so lovely in pictures. Of course, I haven't stayed at CSR since the refurb on the rooms. And I always come off the boat ride in Mexico wanting to run over and check in.

Going by your standing ADR at BoG, I definitely need to make this a priority!

I'm here! Page 3 but here. It was a busy day with getting the E's picked up from camp and then off to a wedding, both of which involved a good 9 hours in the car combined. YIKES! I started to read this from my phone in the car but posting is such a pain from it I try not to.

Love the arrival plans, I have to agree with you, I vastly prefer O'Hare as well. OKW, Pool, MK, maybe a turtle crawl, BoG...what a wonderful day! I am hoping for major room mojo and it just being ready for you for once. :thumbsup2

Which reminds me...I will be out there in Oct for work so once I get that figured out will let you know! :goodvibes

Hi Kathy :)

Firstly huge congratulations on 30 years .... so wonderful :)

Your first day plans sound great and what a fab first dinner together

We are thinking of staying at OKW following our cruise next May, a studio near Hospitality House with a bit of luck so I can't wait to see your photos!

We've not tried OKW before but I think it will really suit us, just got to wait for the 7 month DVC booking window to open

Looking forward to reading along!
