SOOOOO Excited for our first cruise! By the way, is anyone on this thread a DVC member?? We were contacted the other day to attend a meeting at 2:00pm for DVC members only. Does anyone know what this is about and if it is worth attending? Is this where they try to sell you your next cruise?? Any help out there would be greatly appreciated. I really don't want to waste my time on my cruise in a "meeting"!!

@luvdashore it is simply a DVC member appreciation party! Sometimes Mickey will make an appearance but they usually just have food and drinks and a special presentation. You won't miss much if you don't go, but if I were you I would check it out! The party is no more than an hour

Hey everyone! Was just wondering if khaki shorts and golf shirts are okay for boys and dads. Wasn't sure what "cruise casual" is since we haven't been on one yet! Any help you can give would be great. Is it safe to assume that we don't have a FORMAL night on our cruise? Haven't read anything saying that we did. Help! Trying to pack!!

I know the policy asks for no shorts in the MDR, but I remember seeing lots of dockers style shorts on the men in the Fantasy MDRs, except for the formal and captains gala nights... but we won't have any of that on this shorty cruise...

Also, I understand they won't make any announcements until the day before embarkation if there's an itinerary change ... so I found this link to go directly to the Travel Advisory page for those who are interested...

I called, and they said they will contact each person. They said that they would still sail, however, it may not be to Nassau. Crossing fingers!

Personally, I've been there enough and not planning on getting off the boat, so if I had my choice of which one to miss, I'd rather miss Nassau instead of CC, but I don't really care as long as I'm on the boat and the massage therapist are working I'll be happy.

Hi, I hear you! I am fine with missing Nassau, but really enjoy Castaway. Who knows, we might hit Key West or Mexico. Such a shame its a short cruise. I'm keeping my eyes out for the weather channel. I would be fine if we even just stayed in Port Canaveral! lol

It was so hard leaving the ship this morning! Our family had such a nice time. I wanted to thank EVERYONE for the amazing fish extender gifts! My boys had so much fun finding all of the rooms and putting the gifts in the fish extenders. They also LOVED running back to the rooms to see what goodies we'd received. What a fun addition to this incredible cruise. You guys are all so creative and generous. Thank you for making this cruise one we will never forget!

Us too!!! We didn't want to leave! 3 days is waaayyyy too short! Thank you to everyone for the FE gifts! It truly added to the Magic of the trip!!!

We are finally home after our extended Orlando vacation! We headed off the ship to the HGVC on International Drive for 9 more days of fun It was actually cooler there than it was here at home!

Thanks to all of you for the wonderful FE gifts DD and I had a lot of fun making deliveries, and she just loved seeing what surprises awaited us when we came back to our room. We hope you all enjoy the Del's lemonade (originated by a family in our city) and decorate your doors on your next cruise with your new magnet. That image is our state flag (RI).

We found the 4/3 cruise to be a great way to start our vacation, and realized we got worked up for nothing over the weather! How great that we had a bit of a reprieve from the sun in Nassau and CC? We did see more than a few sunburns on people fooled into thinking no sun = no sunburn! Yikes!

Can't wait for our next one!!
