Hi, we will be on the dining plan and have reservations at ohana for 5pm on the day we are in the animal kingdom. We do not want to eat a lunch since that is a huge meal and early. We would like to use a snack credit but on something(s) not sweet for lunch to hold us over.
Does anyone know of any?
Thanks

Popcorn is always the top of my list!! They also have turkey legs which I have heard are really good.

I'll be honest, I have never used the DDP, so this may not count as a "snack", but that's how we eat it :) When I was there at Christmas, back by the Safari was a fresh produce cart, with a cheese/crackers/grapes offering that we found to be just the right amount of food to take us between meals. Maybe someone can confirm that this does make it into the "snack" category, because it's a satisfying one.

Jalapeño and cheese stuffed pretzels.

My recommendation as well, and it's not spicy. :thumbsup2

Sometimes when I just want something light, but actual food, I split a meal from the BBQ place, some chicken or ribs, just enough to hold you over, but not fill you up!

Last time I was using DDP I used a snack credit at the Yak & Yeti counter service location. For one snack credit you got 2 pork egg rolls. They were delicious and filling. Hubby and I each had one and it was enough to hold us over until dinner time.

Next to the bathrooms near the Flights of Wonder stage is a stand that sells Edamame Beans, Asian noodle salad, fruit salad and summer rolls. Flame Tree BBQ also has a fruit salad that is fairly large and can be shared.

Please check out my snacks list, link below in my siggy or Click here for all snack options organized by park. You'll find many savory choices.

Last month I saw big Mickey head pretzels at a cart near the entrance to the safari.

You can get the Chicken fried rice as a snack credit as Yak and Yeti CS. So yummy and great deal as a snack credit.

Love the chicken fried rice and fries here. Some of the best non sweet snacks. IMO

Meat is what I snack on to hold me over. Lasts much longer than Carbs. Turkey legs! YUM! Gobble it up.

We like the egg rolls and fried rice at the Yak & Yeti CS. I think you can also get french fries there and at Flame Tree. You can also get popcorn and glazed nuts at some of the food carts. At the fruit food cart you can get various fruits & veggies as well as pretzels.
