I'm so ready to be in WDW right now, but I have to wait until September! So, here are some pics from last September! :)

Welcome Home!

The afternoon we arrived, a storm was just passing by...

The Avengers Monorail in front of BLT...

We'd requested a lower level room near Chef Mickey's. We were given a room on the 11th floor nearest the Bay Lake Tower side, 2 rooms from the end - just about as far away from our requests as one could get. The next day, we were given a different room. In the meantime, however, here are some pics of the view from our 11th floor room the next morning...

At night, we loved watching the Electric Boat Parade from our balcony!

One night, when we came back to our room, we had a message on our phone letting us know that a jet carrying the Space Shuttle would be flying over the Contemporary early the next morning & not to be alarmed by the noise. DH has always been intrigued by the Space Shuttle, so he got up early while the rest of us slept & took about 183 pics from the Observation Decks. Here are some of them...

Pool Pics...

Splash!

The Slide, taken from our balcony...

Older DS sliding, taken from our balcony...

DD, taken from our balcony...

More pool...

Scenes from outside the Contemporary...

Walking back from the MK...

The Garden Wing...

Looking toward Bay Lake Tower...

Bay Lake & the marina...

The Wilderness Lodge Roof...

For some reason, I forgot to take pics inside our room until the morning we were checking out. (I always forget to take pics the day we check-in & before we unpack & the room gets "messy.") So, here are some pics of our room, w/ our luggage everywhere & the beds unmade...

Our room # - we loved this room!

Unmade beds!

The desk (which we used for our suitcases)...

The fridge area w/ our refillable mugs...

The TV w/ some of our luggage... (We liked the backlit tile under the TV.)

Bathroom! (The only negative to CR rooms is the limited counterspace in the bathroom.)

The door to the toilet area...

The actual toilet! LOL!

And some snazzy artwork hanging beside the toilet...

Hello Everyone. I am looking for pcitures of the Hospitality Suite in the Garden Wing. We booked the 2 queen room and so far I have been unable to find pictures. Thanks :cool1:

I'm planning a trip for my honeymoon/1st anniversary and am struggling between 14th fl Tower Club standard MK view or 1BR suite(hoping for a few big wedding gifts :P ) vs 12th fl Atrium Club. If anyone has any pics of these rooms and or any suggestions I'd greatly appreciate it!! Thanks so much!

Help! I am staying here in August, and I am terribly confused. I've looked at The Contemporary thousands of times. It says that it has like 15 floors. Maybe? But I only count like nine. Am I missing something? I would make a new thread but I'm sure people would laugh at me. Am I supposed to count the floors on the lobby? How many floors on the lobby? Do I count the floors in the garden wing? I DON'T KNOW!

I think Chef Mickey's, gift shops, etc. are the 4th floor. Regular rooms on 5th-10th floor. 11th & 12th floor are club levels. Restaurant above that. Conference rooms, etc. on floors 2 & 3. I didn't count the floors in the garden wing.

Thanks! It makes so much sense now. I can't wait!

Hi, here is a link to earlier in this thread. Post 683 has pictures I took of the Hospitality Suite in the first floor of the Garden wing. It is one King, not two queens. However, the bedroom portion was just like a regular room. This is from 2010, I think rooms are being rehabbed now, so it may have changed since then.

Actually CL is 12 & 14

ASMU/POR Dec 16-22, 2012 & CR Sept 8-15, 2013

Are you staying CL at the CR?? I'm anxious for 12th floor TPV photos if there are any new ones to be had-we booked Atrium CL for 9/14 and I asked for the 14th floor tower club level(thinking there were two or three MK view rooms to be had) and was told I could have the 14th floor but not a guaranteed TPV which I've been dying for since I was a kid-I wonder if they turned the standard rooms on the 14th floor(4911/12 I believe) into an extra suite or even made the lounge bigger?
