Free Dining Extension ~ Oct-Dec

Wwe have a trip planned for Nov 3-9 with Deluxe Dining. Saw all the rumors about free dining dates through Oct 31. I went through and used Disney's website to test a rebook from Oct 31 to Nov 9. I determined the cost of free dining by subtracting the cost of a trip with no dining from a trip with regular dining. I then subtracted that amount from the deluxe dining cost.

If my math is correct, we could get 2+ more days out of our trip for only @ $200 more.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they do announce free dining and I hope my math is correct.

We received one through email from Disney Destinations. It was in my mother's name, but we were able to use it since she is in our household.

Unfortunately no special number... It's just pure pixie dust... I got lucky and was able to use a PIN that came to my email but had listed my mother (and her address) and my DS attached.

At least it gives you hope. I don't get anything from them anymore. I think I have been black listed.

Just got my first e-mail from Disney Destinations. It's not a PIN of course, but I'm happy that I am finally on their e-mail distribution. I had ordered DVDs and maps and still no e-mail ever came. I finally had to call and ask them to put me on their distribution list.

Just an FYI too, I called 407-939-7532 when I was given an unexpected PIN for the FD in November. I don't know if that really makes a difference, but.....

The only email address I get emails to, is the email address I used the one year I had an annual pass. I've used my other email address for years and nothing there.

I am anxiously waiting on December dates. We were going to book a vacation dependent on free dining ! Fingers crossed

Running numbers, waiting to see if FDing is extended. Anyhow.....not sure whether to go ahead and book my reservations for the current free dining and then move them if the offer is extended, or do you get charged to move your dates?
2 rooms @ POP (2 adults, 3 Disney adults and 1 child), 4 day base tickets
Scenario 1 using current 20% off for just the check in night: 3656.52
Scenario 2 using that current 20% off for first night (only night it covers) and adding/paying for the DDP 6017.40
Scenario 3 using the current free dining, backing our vacation up a week and upgrading to the DDP from QSDP 4502.70

So you can see the FDing saves us a TON.....just not sure if it would cost us more to make reservations for the current FDing and then move them, is it 50.00 per room to move dates?
