Dining Reservations - when should we leave?

We are staying at the Art of Animation in August and below are our reservations.

Any assistance on what time we should leave our resort to make our reservations? Just take the bus transportation to each park?

Monday - Rainforest Cafe @ AK 8:30am
Tuesday - Cindy's Royal Table @ 6:50pm
Wednesday - Play N' Dine @ HollyWood @ 8:05am
Thursday - Mickey's BBQ @ 6:30pm
Friday - Crystal Palace Bkfast @ 8:15am

First timers here and worried about making sure we have enough time each day to get cleaned up and out the door and still make it in time for our ressies.

Hi Terry Welcome.

For your morning reservations I would allow 1 hour. The others are hard to say, without knowing where you will be coming from, but I think most of us would advise at minimum of 1 hour, but would recommend an 1 1/2 just to play it safe!

Some of the buses have multiple stops, and then you have to allow for wait times waiting on the bus to arrive, and if there are any people with special needs it may take them a while to be loaded and unloaded which takes even more time.

I agree with an hour before all of your ADRs EXCEPT for Mickey's BBQ. Because it is at Ft. Wilderness, you will need to take a bus to MK and then the launch to Ft. Wilderness. And then you still need to get from the launch to the BBQ. So I'd leave at least 90 minutes to do that.

Hi there! I just got back from the World yesterday. We gave ourselves 1 1/2-2 hours to get to all restaurants. We wanted to be safe just in case. The buses are generally pretty organized, though one morning we waited at our stop at PoR for, and this is not an exaggeration, 45 minutes to catch the DHS bus. We arrived at 8:45 AM and the bus did not pull up until 9:30 AM.

Thanks! 1.5 hours was my plan. With a 2 year old and 6 year old in tow all with Central timezone internal clocks those morning reservations should be interesting!
