The best part of the meet was the food. I have to eat gluten-free and I got gluten-free pizza, cupcakes, and cookies.

First time posting on the board. On behalf of my fellow members of the 501st Legion (Star Wars Costuming Club), we wanted to share that we had a really great time today at the minigolf benefit for Give Kids the World! It was so well organized, and we are so happy to share in support of this great cause.

My 1st time posting on this thread and my first Dismeet. I was able to go to the podcast today. I was solo too, Krista, and I totally agree with you- Tara made me feel very welcome! I had a great time - Dis unplugged, friendly people, great cause- what's not to love? ! I met Kevin, Julie & Craig - all sweethearts! And I met Pete's mom too -a lovely woman. Can't wait to go back next year.

Just wanted to thank the entire team of Divas that pulled off an amazing event again!! I was excited to come and see my old friends and make some new ones this weekend.

It also was a good for the soul type of visit to Massachusetts to see the Army base I used to live on and share it with my daughter.

I am tired and sad but know in my heart what a truly wonderful weekend it was. I have said it before and I will say it again I lucky I am to truly have friends around the world because of the DIS, GKTW and the internet. My life is richer because of all of you.

It was a great weekend...so good to make some new friends and touch base with old ones..Hi Kathy!!! Got to spend a bit of time getting to know some posters in person..Hi Jeff and Val!!! And getting to spend some time chatting with Kevin was terrific. Glad I got to do that. So, even if I didn't come home with any costly items, it was still all good!!!! maybe next time.

I had a fantastic time this weekend. Just want to thank the entire NE Dis Meet Planning Committee for all of their hard work. You guys did an incredible job and should be tremendously proud of yourselves!

It was great to see everyone, and to make some new friends! I won't be able to go to Nova Scotia or Indianapolis, but hope to see lots of you at the Delaware Meet in November!
