Ain't Nobody Got Time For That, Well We Got Time To Eat -Sci Fi! - 12/30

I just found your report and I'm subbing! You're reviews have all been really great so far. I was particularly interested in the BOG and GG because I haven't been to those yet. Looking forward to your next update!

We loved GG when we were there last year. Glad you enjoyed it.

Always great to find another GG lover!

Glad you are enjoying! More will be coming shortly, I am trying to catch up with my trip report

Great Review!!! Thanks for sharing :)

Thank you!

Great dining review and great pictures. Thank you for sharing!

Glad you are enjoying! Who doesn't love food!?! :rotfl2:

Cute couple! :) I love husband-wife reports!

Liberty Tree Tavern looks great! I haven't considered it in years. I really wanted to go when it was a character meal. Minnie in her colonial gear was sooo cute... :( But how you're describing that meat plate is very intriguing...

We have tried it both ways, and while I miss the characters it is still worth the trip I think!

Really enjoyed the latest reviews! Thanks so much for the detailed review of GG, as that's a restaurant you don't see many posts about. Everything certainly looked delicious!

Y&Y is one of our favourites, we usually order either the ribs or the crispy mahi mahi. Your steak and tempura shrimp look amazing, glad to hear they tasted as good as they looked. :thumbsup2

Thanks for sharing! :goodvibes

When I was trying to decide on Garden Grill I had a hard time finding reviews too! The steak and tempura was amazing!!!! Thanks for following along!

Hi, I am just joining along...great review!!

I can not wait to try Yak & Yeti next time I am there! You meals looked fabulous....

Thanks for sharing!

It is a good meal, for me it was a big stand out on the trip!

Love that you've put some of the menus in here. Even though I see the stuff on allears it really helps to see it actually and then I can figure substitutions and stuff for the "adult" kids (read = picky!).

For example,I would never have thought we could do Yak and Yeti but now I know we can and will love it!

Fellow Mainer here :) Subbing in!

Glad you are here!

Love the reviews, sounds like you guys had lots of good food so far!

Thanks!!!

Loving the review. Next time we go, I am not letting DS talk me out of Yak and Yet I!!!

We loved it!

I was waiting for your pics to show up before replying! I'm trying to go along with the TR so i'm a little slow...

I'm so happy that you made it to LTT and that there was no migraine involved. I love that you ordered a glass of milk! I remember back in the day, my family would all have a glass of milk with dinner...now it's beer. :rotfl: My how times have changed.

LTT looks delicious! I've never been but I should definitely try it out. The price is really good for all that you got too :thumbsup2

Off to read more.

I have no idea why my photobucket just hated me for a few days :badpc:
We loved the LLT. I have been trying so hard to avoid soda, and sweets, I figured with that big and heavy of a meal I should do something that was pretending to be healthy LOL

We had never tried the Flame Tree, but I had read great things about it, so we decided to give it a try on our Animal Kingdom night.

I loved the outside look of this place. It fits in so well in this area of Animal Kingdom. I have walked by it a bunch of times, but it never stuck out like a sore thumb, which is hard at a place like Animal Kingdom where everything is so natural looking!

We headed in, and waited in a short, but very slow moving line.

The whole area just smelled amazing!

They were offering the Animal Kingdom souvenir mug here. I was tempted, but resisted!

I chose the ribs/chicken combo “Ribs and Chicken Combo - served with baked beans and coleslaw $11.99”

It was ok… my notes say “MEH” It wasn’t that it was bad, it just wasn’t great either.

Josh chose the BBQ sandwich. “Pork Sandwich - served with coleslaw $8.99”

This was pretty good. Not spectacular, but good. Josh enjoyed it.

We headed down to the area next to the water. I had read on the DIS that we could enjoy an amazing view with our food.

While the area was not “open” we were told we could still sit down there.

Josh sat tight and I ran to get us sauce, and napkins and “stuff”. I came back to enjoy the view, and some dinner.

What we were not expecting was some company! There were both a duck (you can see him peeking in the photo above as well)

And an alligator!

The duck was a HOOT. However, the alligator attracted a bunch of people (castmembers and guests) that we were not expecting.

For dessert we both went with the chocolate choice! “Chocolate Mousse $3.79”

These were tasty, and we both enjoyed as we watched half full trains take the plunge at Everest!

Overall the atmosphere was way better than the food here. It defiantly isn’t on our must do list for the future, but I wouldn’t avoid it if someone really wanted to go there again.

The first time we ate at Flame Tree we thought it was really good, but we have been back twice since then and both times were disappointing. Probably will not be back.

I would have been freaked out by the gator.

I really enjoy FTB! I haven't been to that seating area yet though. Looks like a peaceful area, minus the alligator!

The gator was a good ways down, so he didn't bother us too much!

I read about that spot here!
