So this year I'm making a surprise to my boyfriend for our anniversary.:goodvibes I told Him I reserved our stay at the all star sports, but I upgraded and booked a POR king bed room. I would like to make this stay super romatinc, any tips on what to do to keep the surprise or make our stay extra magical?

We will be on regular Dining plan, with 4 days tickets

I'm staying August 9-13, we are going to Universal on the 12th (through Mears trasport- it also means we will each have one extra snack, counterservice and table service meal) and I booked Cinderella's royal castle for the dinner on the 11th ( our anniversary)

It'll be my first trip alone with him so really ANY tips or suggestions will be welcome
:)

I'm doing alot for my DH and my 5th anniversary in WDW!

Of course we drive so...

Pack a bottle of wine and hide it good, I've packed rose petals (fake) led tea lights and downloaded romantic music on iPhone that will plug right into alarm clock

You can order specials desserts at GF to be delivered to your table.

Do a Illuminations/Wishes cruise

Private dining experience at GF

I'm making this trip in Sept all about DH so I booked Behind the Seeds Tour ( he has a veggie garden he loves) ill be bored but he is so worth it! Lol

Planned more down time so he can relax ( works a very physical job) some time in DQ ( he loves video games)

Booked a carriage ride at POR for an evening..

OHHH! thoses sounds great, but we will be traveling by plane, so we need to pack pretty tight, also wine is a good idea but why hide it? it is not permitted on the resort? also sorry, but I'm new here and don't quite understand the DQ and GF.

As for the carriage ride, it sound interesting, can you tell me more about what you'll do with carriage and how much does it cost?

DQ = Disney Quest at downtown disney
GF = Grand Floridian Resort
Carriage ride is $45 for a 25 minute ride around the resort and by the river, best at night. You can have your wine during the carriage ride, just bring glasses:)

thank for the traduction!:)

The carriage ride look really fantastic, do you know at what time they run? And I suppose that i need to make a reservation for this at the front desk right?

You can have an arrival surprise (or any day you want) put in your room. Something romantic like flowers, champagne and candy. Contact your resort and they'll tell you what to do.

We got married at Disneyworld. Have a magical time.

Normally you cannot have an arrival surprise in your room when you check in unless you are staying club level. I've done many orders through Disney Florist and they want to deliver no sooner than the 2nd night of your stay.

That would be no problem for the florist since our anniversary is on the 11th and we arrive on the 9th, so for the flowers i guess i nees to order them when arriving?

You can order items (like floral arrangements, wine, balloons, chocolates) ahead of time, while at home. They can put them in your room for you. For more information on in room celebration items, check out disney's sites here:

All of the information is available including prices and how to order/call.
