Free Dining Extension ~ Oct-Dec

I wonder if you went back to a value (if that's what you had?) if you'd be more likely to get offered a pin? Obviously I don't know that for sure, but I always signed into my Disney account and booked a value, but kept checking prices for a moderate and got called with a free dining offer. Maybe they get "dinged" when a member is booked but poking around a higher-priced resort? I'm sure values get booked up quickly and they'd like to clear them up for new/last minute guests.

I've been doing that for weeks and no call! (Booked value and searching mods and deluxe within free dining time frame)

I have free dining for November 11-14,2013 even if it is not officially released you can call and ask a pin code maybe on your reservation but will not be activated unless you call and ask. We are staying at PoP Century not sure if that makes a difference!

Congrats on the FD!

What if your current package is through AAA? I see my package on My Disney Experience, but will Disney see it? Would I need to call AAA to have them check to see if a pin code is on the reservation?

I was wondering the same thing! Not sure if my TA would be able to get me any pixie dust, but I don't know if its even worth me trying if I went they AAA and they can't apply it thru Disney.

Sorry, but none of the ways of receiving a pin are sure fire. Some have had luck with "just calling and asking for/demanding the free dining", most have not! Some have luck looking at higher end resorts online, most do not. I know everyone wants an answer, but we are not going to get one. We just have to sit here and wait and hope that GP comes out for us unchosen. It won't hurt to call and ask once in awhile or check emails several times a day, maybe even to beg (if that is your thing). I gave up before this most recent batch, so I will just sit here and wait not so patiently for GP.

I have received pins to my email address while booked with AAA in the past. But I guess it couldn't hurt to ask your TA if she could check.

Yes, your TA can check if you have a PIN and then have it applied to your reservation.:cool1:

I had a moderate booked and never received an email or snail mail. I called twice to see if I had a PIN, and on the second attempt the cm "found" me one. I have since changed to a value, POP, because it saved us another $600. I just need a place to sleep & shower. Plus, wed rather have the QSDP instead of the DDP.

Talking to my AAA TA, she CAN apply a PIN or FD promo if one comes through, but right now I am booked with the AAA discount. She would just have to rebook the entire package (vs. just applying a PIN to an existing package). I wonder if they technically "see" us too though when it comes to PINs. :confused3 I did call Disney couple of times but no luck. Haven't thought about calling my TA? I guess for now I can hope that just like last year they might release the GP offer in early July. Not sure I can wait until August, that's just torture! :sad2:

BUT, at least I have the 15% off the room, some small % off the tickets before the prices went up, and a $100 credit that was applied by AAA. Small consolation for now.

Could someone who has called and recieved free dining WITHOUT having a PIN please send me a private message?

I booked thru the same AAA deal!

I just don't know if I'm buying this whole free dinning with out a pin thing. Why would they do it for some and not others. I mean if it's true it's great for those who got it, it just seems a little off to me.

I called today and no PIN attached to my name. But she checked my dates and found a free dining discount for me. Told her i wanted moderate. She checked my first resort choice , POR, and nothing available. But did have spots for CBR and CSR. Now booked for October 2-8 at CBR with free dining!!

It makes me wonder if some people had the pin all along but the cm told them the he or she would just give them one in the hopes of a favorable survey at the end of the call. Who knows, maybe the get some kind of bonus if you take the survey stating what a wonderful cm they are.
