Well if u put close to lobby, it would work for everything. The doors to the pool exit from the back if thd lobby, and the doors in the fri t if the lobby will take you to the bus stop. The walkway to Epcot can be reached from the back doors of the lobby also.

Happy Planning!!!

Thank you!!

Cant wait!

Cute story alert!

I brought my 10 year-old daughter to the eye doctor this morning and during their conversation he asked if she had plans this summer. When she replied that we are going to WDW next month, he asked which park was her favorite. After a moment of careful thought she replied, "Our resort!"

Do I need to tell you which resort she is referring to? I think you all can guess!:rotfl2:

No Mickey waffles at the Marketplace. :sad2:
You can get them from room service or from the Captain's Grille, which is table service.

Thanks. We will probably have them when we do our 1 night at All Star Sports and then find them again some place.

Wow! Finally caught up! Lots going on for sure!! I think I have 14 days until I leave... I can't wait!

Robyn I'll be looking for you! I check in on the 10th and plan on spending that day by the pool!

Dee I check out of BCV on the 15th and move over to OKW until the 17th. My flight is early on the 17th so maybe we can connect on the 16th sometime... somewhere?? BC maybe? Let me know if you think we can connect!

Buzzy I had a great time last night... hope you made it home safely and that backpack you carry didn't weigh you down to much!!! :lmao:

Mickey T please keep posting the photos - they motivate me to get through another of the 157 days until I get to WDW! :thumbsup2

Absolutely! 387 days for me. You keep me going. :)

Robyn: have a GREAT time!!!!!!!!!

Teena: So glad Bob is doing well.

Nanette - we usually ALWAYS spend our afternoons at SAB - hope to see you there!

YCFAN - I will miss my buddy - but think about that fabulous trip you are planning. That should keep you going. I will be thinking about you at the Dis Meet on the 7th! Maybe we can have Flat Dee, Flat Pixarmom, Flat MickeyT and Flat Nettie this year!!!

What is up with your ticker, Robyn?

2 weeks & 4 days??!!

Although as little as I feel I have done, I think I still need all that time to be ready to leave ... only 2 more days to get my "work" done.

As I reported in my BC review a few pages ago, I received a bad case of food poisoning from the duck at the Brown Derby. My husband keeps asking me to contact Disney to report it. My vacation is lost, so I can't get it back. Do you think I should contact Disney about it? Or should I forget it? I don't expect Disney to do anything about it. Not sure if I report it that it would prevent anyone else from suffering the same fate. If I do want to report it, who would I contact?

That is really sad that you were so sick on the trip.

It couldn't hurt to let Disney know what happened. Especially if they had similar complaints from others during the same time period. As you said, at least you can put them on alert that there was a serious problem.

Here is the info I have from page 1 about contacting Disney's Guest Services.

Who can I contact if I have concerns about something during my vacation, I have a great suggestion or better still, to compliment something wonderful about my trip or to recognize a CM who helped make my stay magical?

Comments, Compliments or Complaints:

You can go to City Hall or Guest Relations during your stay

or email wdw.guest.communications@disneyworld.com

or send a letter to:
Walt Disney World Guest Communications
Executive Offices
Post Office Box 10040
Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830-0040

When you write or email, please include your name, address, phone number and email address.

I would report it, but it might be difficult to ascertain 100% that it was the duck. But it probably was

Looking at that pic, while sipping (ok, honestly I'm GULPING) my coffee.....it looks like I'm actually sitting in that room!!!

Here are a couple of posts I found over on the BC/YC photo thread.

Reposting them here:

I am getting so excited about our trip 8/31-9/7. Wish they didn't mess with the free dining dates, but oh well, the kids will miss two half days of school. They'll live. Last time we stayed BC we were in 2606 which was a huge corner room with a huge balcony. This time I opted for a GV but I don't know what to ask for - closer to pool or closer to Epcot. How close can we get to Epcot with just a GV room? I'm not too worried about a balcony because we really didn't use it last time. Between the oppressive August heat and all the bird crap all over it was a tough place to enjoy.

Anyone have any tips? My kids are now 15, 13 and 11 but they don't mind walking - as long as they are headed to SAB!

:welcome:

I'll add you to the Be Our Guest list.

:woohoo:

There are definitely garden view rooms that are close to EPCOT- some of them face the woods and are views of greenery rather than a courtyard or flower garden. There is an exit/entrance at that end of the Beach Club that is just about 3 minutes from the International Gateway.

Your request would be "Close to EPCOT, please" You still won't be very far from the pool, maybe 5-7 minute walk either through the hallways or around the back of the resort. About the same amount of time to the lobby/bus stops from there, too.

Yay going to the Beach Club! Sept. 21-Sept. 28th. :) We stayed there for 1 night several years ago!

:welcome:

I'll add you to the Be Our Guest list.
