FD Pin and WDW website

Is anyone else having trouble with their PIN on the WDW website? Every date that I tried between August and December says that it is not available. It was working last week. Either Disney has sold out of all of those rooms, or the website is a little wonky?! Either way, I think I'm just going to have to call. I mean, it says that you can book until 8/14. So how could all of the rooms be gone already?!

I'd call. I booked pin-less Friday. I'd tried online but had nothing but problems. Very glitchy and wasted an hour trying. Ended up having to call. But it worked out better I think. They can do more on the phone (requests, airline seats) than online.
 
Thanks....that's what I figured, especially since the website continuously defaults back to the first dates you try. I will call as soon as my husband commits to a week.
 
Mine just stopped working too!!
I went in to price things out because I am chronic resort changer and constantly running different scenarios:rolleyes2 and it tells me there is nothing available in any category. It's annoying.

I tried dates from September through December and it told me nothing was available, except for the WL Cabins a week in December. I'm going to call. At least DH had committed to a week in September! :banana:
 
Good Luck when you call! Let us know how it works out. I still can't see anything with the PIN today.
 
I finally got the chance to call yesterday....ugh (I know!), so long!

Anyways, initially the CM (who was wonderful) on the phone told me that nothing was available at any resort with my FD pin for the dates that I needed. So I explained to her that I had the same result when I tried it on my home computer and that I thought it may be a glitch in the system. She said she thought that they had the same glitch and went to speak to her manager. When she got back on the phone she was able to make my PIN work, and we are now headed to POFQ in early October!

Can't wait!!!! :banana:
 


I get TONS of emails and snail mails with a PIN code on it. Somehow (and luckily) I've been getting them for YEARS!

The previous poster is correct though....call and ask! Good luck! :thumbsup2

This has been true of me for years, even got one in January...but didn't need them. Been waiting all year for one for our October trip...nothing. I don't get it! I can only get them when we're not going to use them. :(

Hang in there....even if you don't, I'm sure they will open up FD. I believe they have in the past.

What's so funny is that even after I made my reservation, I got ANOTHER email from Disney with a PIN code. I felt like saying..."yes, yes...I booked. Don't worry!" :lmao:
 
I've had trouble with the website too- no dates at all available. We are trying to switch our dates- very frustrating! It's been giving me trouble for a week now- are they ever going to fix it?

Just call. I did, and at first the WDW computers were showing no availability either. However, the CM told me to hang on and got her manager. When she came back, she was able to get into the system and get us our dates that we wanted. So just call....it's MUCH easier!

Agree, they REALLY need to get the kinks worked out in their system.
Once I got my 3rd Free Dining Pin, that is when their system "stopped" working & showed no availability. I had received two prior to that & the system was working fine, something happened when the 3rd offer went our or something because I get the same error stating nothing available.

Checking with a manager usually just means they need clarification on how to get it to work lol. There truly may not be any availability during some weeks and no manager will be able to change that.

When I called I let her know that my computer was showing no availability for ANY dates from September to December, so I figured something was wrong being that I had only received the PIN in the mail 2 weeks prior. The girl told me there may be a "glitch" in the system and that is why she checked with her manager because the main computers were not showing any availability for anything either. My original dates (late October) had availability in CSR and CBR as far as mods go, after the girl got back from talking to the manager. I didn't ask about other resorts. Once I changed my dates, I was able to get the resort that I wanted. So, if the CM says that there is no availability, I would let him/her know that I had tried multiple dates myself and nothing showed up, could there be something wrong? And yes, there may actually not be any availability as this PIN has been out for a while.
