*2013* epcot food & wine festival 9/27-11/11

I'm not sure if this has been answered yet but will the menus for the booths be posted somewhere before F&W starts so we can decide which booths we want to go to? Thanks!

The food offerings don't change too drastically from year to year. Some things might change but the crowds have their favorites so Disney hesitates to change up things too much.

Here are the food and beverage offerings from 2012. It will give you a very good idea of what to expect. The new booths Scotland, Brazil (return) won't be announced until the end of July or early August.

Great! Thank you so much!

Wow... so nice to hear a POSITIVE anticipatory statement about FP+on DIS!! So refreshing!! :) I'm with you! :thumbsup2

Wait... you didn't mean this sarcastically, did you?? :rotfl2:

No, not sarcastically. I like the trip planning process and FP+ will add to that. The actual vacation may be only a week but the planning process can last all year.

I hear ya -- planning is a big part of the fun for our family, too. :)

Was just coming here to post that. I hope I get in. My BD is July 28th and Im doing a long weekend getaway for it.

I'm 90% sure the official menus were released during a tables in wonderland event in July last year. I could be wrong, but Im sure we will know in advance.

I was at F&W in 2010 and I'm pretty sure that the menus were released earlier as well because I remember salivating over them in my PTR at that time.....or not. :goodvibes

Hope we get to salivate early this year as well.

Oh great! This is our first F&W Festival. We only have 2 days designated for Epcot to do the Festival and the regular attractions so I want to make sure we have everything planned out so that we don't miss anything. I hope that's enough time. Otherwise we won't be able to see the rest of the World!

Seems like some items have been released.

I think the scottish salmon, the canadian le cellier offering and the hazelnut chocolate cheesecake are early favourites with me. :goodvibes

I better go save more pennies!

While I do not want to "schedule" myself too much, I do want to look at the menu's and make a list of the booths I MUST visit.
Also, I really kinna do want to do some pre-calculations of cost.

That's how I feel as well! Haven't fully kept up with every post in this thread... Is it still the case that we'd expect more details mid-July-ish??

I am hoping that they do Haggis from Scotland! From England myself but love Haggis and tatties!

I read somewhere (AllEars maybe) that it's a good idea to get a F&W gift card to pay at the booths instead of fishing for cash, etc. It didn't say where you can get these or if they are a special kind of gift card. I assume you can get them at the Welcome Center or perhaps I can use regular WDW gift cards...anyone know? We aren't doing DDP this time so we'll be paying out-of-pocket. And, if it is a special card, what if I don't use all of the money on it?
