Caribbean Beach Questions

1. Which room area is closest to the small kids' pool that has the pirate ship?

2. Do they only have double beds?

3. Are cribs available?

4. How is the pool bar?

We are looking at a split stay (several nights at Swan with points) then Caribbean. Never stayed at the Caribbean before but if our daughter napped in the room, is there an area right outside of the room (it looks like there is a balcony on upper floors) where my husband and I can stay outside and read while she naps?

We are used to the Swan. Are we going to feel a real difference when we downgrade resorts? I hope the Swan teacher's rate is available, but if not it looks like a split stay. TIA

1. the preferred rooms. Trinidad North and Martinique buildings 26, 25, and 24.

2. There are some rooms with a king bed, but the rest are doubles.

3. You can get a pack and play but no actual crib.

4. We didn't get anything there this trip. There were always a few people there when we were at the main pool.

There is not a balcony for the rooms, just the railed walkway on the upper floor. We have seen people pull their room chair out on the walkway by their door, but it's not really a balcony and you would want to allow walking room for other guests.

We loved CBR! Have priced the Swan/Dolphin using my teacher rate, but all things considered, it's still cheaper to stay at a Disney moderate. Would love to stay at the S/D, just haven't been able to justify it, even with the teacher discount.

4. How is the pool bar?

Pool Bar is great. Lots of tables close to it, but you can't quite see the Pirate ship pool from the bar because of the structure that is built for one of the water-slides. :drinking1
