Perhaps there is some truth to the concern. If we all drink four sodas a day on the cruise x 4000 passengers, that is 16,000 sodas a day, over 100,000 a week, over 5 million sodas a year. How can DCL handle all that soda? If you stacked 5 million cans of soda, one on top of another, the tower of soda cans would go to the moon, circle back, and end up in Orlando. Something to think about next time you go for that one extra soda on the cruise.

You're not allowed to take open containers of beverages through customs when you get off the ship so it's impossible to "hog" soda in the same way that people "hog" the H20 products.

You can use all you want on board but you're not allowed to take the soda off the ship.

If DCL handed out cans of soda included in your cruise fare, I'm certain that there would be threads stating that it's "wrong" to take the cans of soda off the ship.

This is the reason I joined the boards in the first place, FRIENDLY advice/tips. Unfortunately, a lot aren't friendly at all and are quite judgmental. I will continue to read the friendly ones

You know..... I don't care if anyone Hogs the H20 products or the Soda Machines, and its fine to use their Mugs as it doesn't touch the nozzles anyway. It's their Cruise and Its not hurting or being detrimental to my Cruise. just Have Fun Doing it haha

Thanks for that!!! It made my day.... I don't drink sodas but DH does and I'll be thinking of you and all the kids who REALLY DO THAT every time he fills up!!!

I don't drink soda or ice tea either so everyone can have my share
