Recieved Free Dining PIN code for rest of year!!

I received my free dining pin. We wanted to stay at the French Quarters Nov. 30 thru December 5th. Everything is booked up for the free dining pin. I had to get reservations at Carribean Resort. I could not get a package for Fantasmic dining either. What is going on?

Some people have posted on the Dining Forum that they could not book F! package on line but got it when they called. Its a few weeks past your 180th day, right? That could be why F! is not available. Keep checking on line, something may open up, people cancel.

FQ is small and popular, it fills up fast.

Can you imagine the exciting screams coming from this area if all of us got pin codes on the mail?!
Speaking of, we just got a new mail carrier a couple days ago. I wonder if my original one asked for a change of route because she was afraid I was stalking her?! : )

How's everyone doing in their waiting? Nothing in my mail again today. I didn't even stalk the mailman today. I feel much less enthusiastic about getting the pin.

I have pretty much given up. Hopefully it goes public.

Hi Everyone, I booked my trip from Sept 28 to Oct 5 at AoA. But last week a friend at my work gave me a coupon pin for Disney World free Meal plan. I called Disney right away to see if I could use it and sure enough they let me but I had to change my hotel which I was happy about. I got a room at POR with free meal plan for the week and got a refund of $ 159 dollars. They let me use it on my fathers reservation also which saved him $293 dollars.
I have two children and we went two years ago and had the meal plan it was so worth it.

I know the coupons are out there and there were alot of dates on the coupon I was given..

You aren't supposed to. But many things are happening this year that haven't in the past so who knows.

Wow, I cannot believe how unlucky I am. I know several of you feel the same. Cannot get this PIN to save my life. Cannot sweet talk the CM's and get anything. And cannot use my Mom's pin who isn't going this year. sigh

I feel equally unlucky... No pin for us and told we couldn't use a co-workers pin.. It would be easier to deal with If Disney was consistent. Still holding hope for the public offer coming out for early October.

I understand the frustration. Although I am way too afraid to try to talkj my way into a free pin. I usually call thinking I am going to, and the call always ends up the same as the last 30 or so. Do I have a pin? No. Okay, thank you for checking.

Do not ask me how, but I received a pin thru email & my Husband received one thru the mail, both are not transferable. It says it on the message.
We was there in February, the reservations was in my name, but he received a pin too & there is no way we can go again this soon.

I don't doubt what you say...but PINS are non-transferable. You cannot book a reservation under your name and use someone elses PIN code. For whatever reason, this got by the the CM that you spoke to when you applied the PIN - but there is a good chance that they may not honor it when you check in. Disney has put in many safeguards to prevent people from using discount codes that they are not entitled to. Not trying to rain on your parade...but just want to make all those waiting and hoping for a PIN aware...you cannot book using another persons PIN code.

to be more specific- If you get a PIN code, you can book more than 1 room with a PIN code - BUT the person that OWNS the PIN must be traveling during the same time you and may need to be present when you check in to show ID.
