Panama Canal Eastbound Sept. 14, 2013--it'll be WONDER-ful

The Entrance to it has a steep incline. I tried to get in there before, I couldn't

My mother in law was in an ECV so I may not have noticed the steepness of the incline. I'm sure we can find an indoor location. The best location we did it on the ship was Studio Sea since we had it to ourselves - the ones I have been to in the promenade seem more confusing due to other guests and activities in that area - I'm thinking even more so since we are meeting on the second day. It is fairly high traffic compared to other locations. What do you think about the front entrance area of the Walt Disney Theatre? Sometimes they have characters there but it is usually more out of the way. Would that be a good back up plan?

We booked the cruise on June 6th at the GTY (category VGT, with restrictions) Any one else doing the GTY? Hopefully we won't regret this, but could not resist the cost of this cruise. The way I understand it I won't get a stateroom assignment until 14-7 days before the cruise, and can't check in until after July 1st to book any excursions till then. Have been on 4 cruises but this is our 1st Disney Cruise.

Put us down for the meet and greet: Russ & Janice. Not sure about the FE, Wine Tasting, and postcards; need to do research on these as I am not familiar with how they work.

We live in Richmond, TX. (close to Houston)

On WBPC it worked pretty well. I booked military rate verandah and most that had vgt were right there with me on the 7 deck. Only issue you might have is if you get navigators verandah which have a white wall instead of plexi.

In case anyone still needs to book a flight for the trip, Southwest is having a "sale":

My DH and I booked SW on points and they went down over 1,000 points for each of us on our return flight. Both flights have gone down quite a bit from when I booked them on the first day. I try to check every day or so.

Ok. I booked our gran Shelby in to San Diego so she could go to Disney before we leave on cruise. I think I paid $126 for one way. I thought that was good.

I can book excursions tomorrow (the 16th) and wondered is that tomorrow morning sometime or tonight at midnight? Any help with the time (& time zone) it will open for me would be greatly appreciated. I've been waiting anxiously! I'm really hoping the Outdoor Adventure with the hiking, donkey ride, repelling, zipline is going to be available. Have a wonderful weekend everyone! See you in 91 days :)

Where is that? Do you mean las caletas in PV? I was going to book that and a gold member from told me it isn't offered on our cruise

I emailed DCL about this specific Port Adventure in Puerto Vallarta and was told we can book this one. I'm hoping she was right even though I've heard otherwise. I guess I will find out in 13 hours. It is the same amount of time as some of the other Port Adventures so I don't see why it wouldn't be available, but of course I'm not responsible for scheduling hundreds of people to get off and on a cruise ship in a designated amount of time :) This is BY FAR my favorite of all of the things we can do at all of the ports. I'm going to be REALLY sad if my fiancée and I can't do it.

Is it the las caletas hideaway? That would be great if we can book it, but a gold level told me that it wasn't offered on this cruise when there booking window opened. We are only in port 5 hours and it is a 7 hour excursion. I even went to see if I could book it privately and the catamaran departure times are all before we even dock.

Just booked the Crowne Plaza for Friday night! Not sure whether we're flying out of Hobby or the other one on Sunday so no ressie for the 28th yet. Very excited. I think I should go shopping this afternoon for cruise clothes!

These are the excursions available in PV. Im rushing off to a wedding otherwise, I'd list all of the ports. This is PV only.

Dolphin & Sea Lion Observer
Dolphin Encounter
Dolphin Kids
Dolphin Signature Swim
Dolphin Swim Experience
Extreme Canopy Adventure
