Cali Grill in September '13?

according to DisneyFoodBlog, California Grill will be taking reservations with availability starting Nov 18th (need to be a resort guest to do the +10 ressie)

needs to be confirmed by someone who actually manage to book

earlier dates might become available as soon as an official opening date is announced.

Here's the deal.

CG was not available for booking on 11/16 - 180 days out from today. I was able to find a decent time for 11/23, though, for a party of ten.

I got the email that ADRs were being taken as of 11/16 at 1:30pm today.

The 1st booking I could do tonight was 11/23. Again, for a party of ten.

There is no official word about September/October. I think there is still a good chance for late September onward, maybe earlier. Fingers crossed for good news soon!

I'm with you...happy that ADRs look to be opening up for later in the year but I'm still pulling for September dates...keep the updates (any and all) coming folks!!!

Glad folks are getting their November ressies. I called an hour ago and was again told its opening late Summer with no further info available. So much for mid-Sept. ;-(

I have been checking daily for CG. Oct 22 is my 25th wedding anniversary and we really wanted to celebrate at CG! Hopefully we will get solid information soon!

Oct 23 is our 19th anniversary (dating, not wedding, but we always celebrate it because we both have big work deadlines around our wedding anniversary so can never do anything then), and we were hoping to get a reservation for that night.

We're staying CL at AKL and have a message in with the IPO to book us at cali grill for dinner on the 23rd as soon as reservations for that date open (assuming they'll be open in mid-Oct.). Once they've made the ressie, IPO will email us with the confirmation number. So, I should find out that way, and hopefully I'll remember to post about it on here.

Congrats on the big anniversary! I hope you get to celebrate it in style!

IIRC the podcast team mentioned August 31st as the opening date during the 7-in-7 Contemporary Review they released yesterday.... Not sure where they heard this but I sure hope they're right!

as they dont have an official opening date announced yet they cant open any earlier reservations. My guess is that they will open mid-late sept as planned but are nailing down a date. I dont see why we wouldnt be able to book from that date as soon as its available.

Im hoping for october 16th which is my last night.

I was told by IPO that CG should be open by early Sept., but won't be taking ressies until right before it opens. I guess they don't want to take ressies without the restaurant being actually ready to open. I hope she was right on the dates.
